Someone with his lack of experience/success/knowledge calling the game from the sideline is just fucking absurd and is 100% confirmation that he doesn't even understand what he's supposed to be doing/watching/coordinating.

The talk of execution as the problem is just because he doesn't know how to do anything else.

I fucking hate him so much and wish he was coming back so I could hate him more.

Brian doesn’t need to be Iowa OC for me to hate him with all my heart.
I don't ever want my hate for him to diminish, but fear it will with the passage of time/absence.

I don't know if Beth will allow it, but I'd like to see him associated with the program in some way, shape or form.

Could he replace Copeland at WR coach?

Maybe he can help Kirk’s son in law with recruiting?

It was fun watching Grubb do stuff- charts, graphs, whatever, then remember Brian on the field looking dumb with bad hair.

Don’t need the BriDawg around the program. I think someone holding up a cutout of Brian’s big fat greasy face at games will serve as enough fuel to stoke the fire of hate.

He can go be a quality control analyst wherever daddy finds him a job, somewhere far away.

Was Brian ever asked about not targeting Tennessee's freshman cornerback?

While it's possible Bacon didn't attempt to throw it to that WR because he's retarded, it wouldn't at all surprise me to hear Brian explain that it wasn't in Iowa's best interest to take advantage of an opportunity like that.

We need to start a GoFundMe for an offensive guru to brutally dissect every aspect of the Iowa offense and specifically, Brian.

Play design, route trees, play calling, etc.

I would like his entire football career to be ruined.

It would be posted on YT like Brian's video at the coaches clinic. There would be an audience and laughing and mocking.

Kurt’s hiring and continued employment of such a buffoon (and he woulda brought the buffoon back), deserves mockery and criticism until the end of time.

just an absolutely disgusting blood-tinged shit smear on his legacy.

we must never forget.

I feel like we need a ceremonial firing into the sun, so we can get some closure on the last 4 years.

I just want to know if he started wearing Iowa gear again on his own, or did daddy make him?

Kind of like when the Big10 network does the X's and O's breakdowns with Meyer except they highlight ineptitude and point out how unbelievably retarded Brians calls are with precision and detail.
This exactly.

How do we get this done?

I would pay $1k for a product with significant production value. I assume others would donate generously.

I would own the rights to the end product should someone ever decide to make it into a feature film/play.

Remember last winter when Kirk’s son, Kirk’s son, Brian Ferentz was given the laughably easy goal of averaging 25 points per game as a condition of his continued employment, and then he ended up missing that average by nearly 10 ppg (15.42 ppg over 14 games), and Kirk still wanted to bring him back?

After watching last night’s game I’d give both of my testicles, the toes on my left foot, and a kidney for Grubb.

I’m sure KF watched that game and scoffed at the offense being “too sexy”.

I'm sure we all would, but why would Grubb make a lateral move to work in Kirk's handcuffs with this roster when he has freedom and access to actual talent in Seattle?

He wouldn’t - which is why I felt safe in offering my balls.

It was funny listening to the ESPN guys being totally baffled by how awful our game plan was. You can tell that was their first Iowa game this year

I think the depressing thing about Grubb isn't that he wouldn't take the Iowa job- don't get me wrong, he wouldn't.

But, if Grubb's dream job was Iowa, and he saw a path to that job through calling plays for Kirk, if he desperately wanted the job- I think Kirk hires Philbin.

because deboer isn’t leaving anytime soon and he wants a head job.

The absolute fucking BEAUTIFUL thing about all of this is that KF thought he'd be in a position to hand it all off to Brian in a year or two.

A seamless transition.
up until big dick Beth stepped in, Kurt was gonna have BriDawg OC for a couple more seasons, then have him take over as HC. Total delusion. In fact, he may still think it possible.

My beef isn't necessarily with the play calling (that's actually been decent) or entirely with the scheme but recruiting. Their approach to offensive recruiting, especially playmakers on the edge and speed to complement our TE's has been an unforgivable blind spot. Our offensive issues start there and have snowballed into the situation we're in now. Even Greg Davis was on record stating that a big upgrade at WR was needed to run his offense.

I would absolutely pay money to see that. A two hour dissection of how abjectly terrible he’s been

My beef is with the play calling, the scheme, the recruiting, and the persons responsible for each of these things, especially Kirk’s son, Brian Ferentz.

Wasn’t it confirmed that the big dick boosters made Beth fire Brian? Perhaps she would’ve done it on her own, but I believe her hand was forced.

I still can’t believe these same boosters didn’t force Brian out after last year. What the fuck did they think was going to happen giving Brian another year as OC?

Alabama tried hiring Grubb as OC last offseason. He’s going to be a HC next year.

If it is a choice, would you rather have Grubb as HC with a forced Kirk retirement, or Kirk and Philbin (or Chryst)?

Grubb, and it is a no-brainer.

I would take Kirk Ferentz over many, but if someone like Grubb, Leipold, or a few others were available now, based on Kirk retiring, then you make the move.

I couldn't care less about Charlie Jones. What irks me is that knowing how effective a guy like ISM was for our program, why we didn't make recruiting similar players a focus, year in and year out. He didn't exactly fit in culture wise and that fact wasn't lost on recruits who opted to go elsewhere.

I think the actual buying of human beings via NIL (like in the olden days) gave the donors far more leverage than they had in the past.

OR, as mentioned numerous times already... why not get a mobile QB?
seems to be a great fit with the offense kirk wants to run and would open up a lot more options...

fucking staggering
