The starters are good. It looks like Fran knows the bench is weak, so that is nice.

I actually like our bench, but it's really only 4 deep at this point with Connor, Bowen, Ulis, and Ogundele. I think we will see a lot of Sandfart and Murray playing with that second team until Dix is ready for stiffer competition

2 things that Fran will adjust but won’t happen until sometime between late December-mid January and in the process will probably cost them a couple games:

1) Rebraca will go back to playing the way he did to end last year. He has a little bit of Basabe going right now where once he gets the ball, he’s going to try and score. It’s sorta fine against these types of teams, but he just doesn’t have the low post game to do that effectively against high major competition.

2) Fran will figure out a bench rotation that makes sense. Right now he’s trotting out Ulis-Bowen-Connor and that’s just a bad combination of players. It may require moving Sandfart to the bench and Perkins over to the 2 and playing Ulis with the first team. Sandfart will play the same amount of minutes as the starters and be on the floor at the end. Having a second unit of Bowen-Sandfort-Dix-Connor-? provides multiple shooters paired with someone that can drive.

Fran is a player short though. Last year he had the luxury of playing Kris out of position at the 5 but he can’t really do that this year.
