Wouldn't the "guys he takes to Chicago" need to be weighted by returning starters/all-conference players or something? he even mentions that the QB went half the time. Guys like Jackson and Fant never went because they left early. Seems like they usually have a top OL with them, the white OL that were high NFL picks were seniors (Reiff, Scherff), the black guys (Daniels, Wirfs) left early.

There is a valid statement that retention of black players has been a problem. It seems like upperclassmen (i.e. leadership) numbers stem from that.

He thinks anyone that speaks out even a little against any player is "trying to defend the program at all costs" and the pattern is the same as something like Penn State.
