No, I just watch the games. Is Brecht practicing?

This program hasn't had a legit game breaking RB since Shonn Greene. Having a RB with elite vision would do wonders for covering up an OL that has struggled for years. Here's a summary of numerous purported inside info tidbits from both TOS.
- As mentioned Vines seems to be stepping up
- O-line is a work in progress but typical for this time of the year
- Dline is extremely deep and good (encouraging as the LB and DBs are loaded)
- Several reports that Kaleb Johnson is a stud and will be tough to keep off the field
- Best practice so far was today (Sunday)
- Keagan Johnson actually died last December and his double isn't up to speed/ready to play football yet
Wadley turned into quite the shitty person, but that dude was legit game-breaker. I’d argue Canzeri was as well, but that might just be Nebranska in 2015 clouding my memory. This program hasn't had a legit game breaking RB since Shonn Greene. I hope Johnson is legitimately great and I hope the staff understands how desperately this offense needs a playmaker at that position, even if he might not have all the pass pro down quite yet...
the post on tos said Johnson had two 80 yard type td runs (against our D) you can kinda see one in today’s pics. This program hasn't had a legit game breaking RB since Shonn Greene. Having a RB with elite vision would do wonders for covering up an OL that has struggled for years.

Wadley was damn electric on the field, really too bad he ended up as a shitbagWadley turned into quite the shitty person, but that dude was legit game-breaker. I’d argue Canzeri was as well, but that might just be Nebranska in 2015 clouding my memory.
Greene was on another level from those two, they couldn't even make an NFL roster, let alone be an NFL starter like Greene.Wadley turned into quite the shitty person, but that dude was legit game-breaker. I’d argue Canzeri was as well, but that might just be Nebranska in 2015 clouding my memory.
Akrum Goddamned Wadley? This program hasn't had a legit game breaking RB since Shonn Greene. Having a RB with elite vision would do wonders for covering up an OL that has struggled for years.

Anyone that is counting on kj is going to be disappointed.Yeah, if this has been lingering since Dec and they still can't get it figured out this could spell very bad news for an already razor thin receiver core.
Good lord, Wadley took over games when he was in. This is silly.Greene was on another level from those two, they couldn't even make an NFL roster, let alone be an NFL starter like Greene.
But 19 days from today is Aug 27?
It's from the BTN, so they're referring to the first conference game (or college football as a whole)...which is 8/27... Nebrantska vs Northwestern. But 19 days from today is Aug 27?
Meh. I don’t think he was anything special.Marcus Coker would have been that guy if Sally Mason didn’t throw him out

Not quite Scothawk.
I believe Coker was second string at Stony Brook and didn't sniff the NFL when he left Iowa. If you're an elite player you succeed wherever you go.Meh. I don’t think he was anything special.
A 1,000 yard backup seems good. Also he broke his leg I’m sure that helped!I believe Coker was second string at Stony Brook and didn't sniff the NFL when he left Iowa. If you're an elite player you succeed wherever you go.
1000 yard backup is good. But we seem to be talking about 2 different things. A game breaking, NFL type running back is more than just good.A 1,000 yard backup seems good. Also he broke his leg I’m sure that helped!
The "OL is a work in progress" thing never seems to end. Has Iowa ever entered a season where the OL wasn't in total flux or where it didn't take half a season to 'gel'? Figure it out. This program hasn't had a legit game breaking RB since Shonn Greene. Having a RB with elite vision would do wonders for covering up an OL that has struggled for years.

I don't get itAsk 26.2
Wadley was a change of pace back in 2016 (behind Daniels) and excelled on a per carry basis (6.4 YPC on 168 carries), but then took a step back when he was given the lead role in 2017 (4.4 YPC with 252 carries). In two seasons, Akrum totaled 2,190 yards, Greene totaled 1850 in a single season and won the Doak Walker Award.Good lord, Wadley took over games when he was in. This is silly.
Yes you doI don't get it
"Game breaking" was the term used. I agree that Wadley wasn't as consistent as Greene but to me he was as much as a game breaker IMO. But whatever, it's all opinion.I would not classify Wadley in the same tier as Greene. Wadley was immensely talented and definitely had game breaking ability, but drive to drive did not have the impact on the game that Greene had.

I don't even need to look at what happened in the NFL to conclude that Greene was in a higher tier than Wadley at Iowa. What happened in the NFL confirmed Greene's talent level was much higher though.
Greene was an incredible back that had the rare ability to both take what the defense gave him AND gash the defense for big chunk yardage too. Wadley could break a big play, but wasn't consistent.
I will bow you into next Tuesday if you don't step off.Says the guy with the obvious WRONG opinion! Boom, roasted.
Only for 28 or so more Saturdays. We are blessed
Bill Walsh never met Tony Racioppi.
Do we send a letter or just move on with our day?Your Iowa Hawkeyes did NOT make the Top-25 in the coaches poll.
I was trying to figure out the same thing. I feel like I need to do something, but I don't know what.Do we send a letter or just move on with our day?
Thank Spencer?I was trying to figure out the same thing. I feel like I need to do something, but I don't know what.
