the first Hankins pick v ISU is hilarious. Purdy gets that out so late and short that it’s almost catching a punt.
The move he puts on the ISU lineman at the 30 yard line on the second one is pretty good. The lineman dove to air.

The Heisman trophy winning WR in 2020 weighs 170 lbs. He blocked his ass off and played gunner on the punt team, no breakage detected.
Ihmir is another one. They protected him well as a freshman IIRC, keeping him near the relative safety of the sidelines.

I think Alec Wick will surprise a lot of people. I just hoped he’d get a shot, and it looks like he’s seized that opportunity, and earned a starting position in practice.
He’s a great kid, and I think he’ll have a lot of fans here by the end of his career at Iowa.

Why would there be Busch Light at the entrance of a university?

Settle down, he did not earn a starting position. He's listed as a backup at a position that has Keagan Johnson listed as the starter and also has Brody Brecht to contend with. Fwiw, Copeland was high on Brecht and Wick on the HR podcast a couple months ago, mentioned that Wick had an explosive play (15+ yards) in every practice this spring.

How did you answer What type of group are you trying to bring out?
i haven’t responded back. I’ll say we’re long time friends (15th year anniversary?) and followers of gopher football - technically not a lie, as we do follow them….and root for their demise.

My former residency program director sits in Barta’s box, I believe. I wonder what kind of donation you need for general suite seats at Kinnick

You a Scott Siepker fan? I thought his original stuff was pretty good and then he fell off quite a bit and just became annoying
I don’t live in DSM or follow local sports personalities, so I never saw him again after his 15 minutes with ESPN was up

That reminds me, there was an actual Kinnick movie that was about to start filming right before Covid hit. Haven’t heard anything since which leads me to believe it may have been scrapped

I'd hope I'm on the list of 20.
The game is in Minneapolis this year but if y’all can’t find a decent tailgate spot, there’s always the alumni/hawk club gathering prior to the game at the I Club bar, which is a short Uber ride to the stadium. There should be plenty of Gold or Maroon Lot passes available for way less than a suite though. One or two spots should be enough for Doug’s party.
