He probably posts/lurks here.I assumed some of you know Beltrame. lol
better stated. And I have no idea who this guy is. From the last few posts it sounds like I shouldIt would be funnier if he cut it by 100% and replaced it with something funny.
There are some truly unexceptional people in the comments to that. Lots of the
That is simply all I was saying and it’s pretty obvious that the 2022 version is on track to be the worst under his tenure unless something drastic happens. We’ve been trending towards this direction for awhile. The Iowa offense under Kirk has never been particularly good,
It’s just frustrating because with the defensive brand we’ve had under Norm and Phil….it doesn’t really need to be. An a stage offense that doesn’t turn the ball over and you’d have a lot more 9 and 10 win seasonsThis is of course not true. The Iowa offense under Kirk has never been particularly good, but we have literally never seen ineptitude like this. You have to go back to the James Vandenberg 2012 year to get anything even close. The Spencer Petras years are uniquely bad, and unless something drastically changes this year it's going to be historically bad.

Shane Hall would have a shot too.I think even Harold Dalton could get an interception against Petras.
A 50th percentile offense wins the west 2 out of 3 years, on average. A 75th percentile offense is enough about half the time. It’s just frustrating because with the defensive brand we’ve had under Norm and Phil….it doesn’t really need to be. I don’t think Iowa needs more TV revenue for the football team per se. It needs the extra TV money to replace athletic dept donations for football. That replaced money would need to go to NIL. It will be difficult to move that money over as the NIL fundraising is likely not nearly as sophisticated or effective as that run by Barta and his dept.My biggest fear is that the athletic department is banking on the windfall of tv money to consistently raise the program up. The problem with that line of thought is that everyone in our conference will have similar resources. We could be in for some serious hard times.
Is this the short leash insider? Because if so it appears they aren’t an insider. The Insider! from TOS came back today and stated it was Kirk’s decision to start Petras Saturday and play him the entire game. It also sounds like Kirk still wants to roll with Spencer which is causing a lot of tension within the football complex.
Buckle up folks.
I was just thinking the same thing. This season is Kirk's version of Lou Reed's "Metal Machine Music". A fuck you to everyone, but in particular to long time devoted fans.
suck it and suck it hard, non-vision impaired hawkeye fans!
Your first mistake is listening to TOSThe Insider! from TOS came back today and stated it was Kirk’s decision to start Petras Saturday and play him the entire game. It also sounds like Kirk still wants to roll with Spencer which is causing a lot of tension within the football complex.
Buckle up folks.
There is one guy with enough equity to have the needed conversation with Kirk. The Insider! from TOS came back today and stated it was Kirk’s decision to start Petras Saturday and play him the entire game. It also sounds like Kirk still wants to roll with Spencer which is causing a lot of tension within the football complex.
Buckle up folks.
But I want HIM to die for HIS sins.Spencer Petras died for our sins.
well huh….who could have ever predicted that?causing a lot of tension within the football complex.
There is zero reason to believe anything until it is seen. This staff has lost all credibilityAccording to TOS Dochterman said on the radio he has heard the change has been made.
Short leash with the change is what I heardAccording to TOS Dochterman said on the radio he has heard the change has been made.
Like @Judge Kemp said that just makes him look even stupider for not making the switch this past week. You certainly shouldn't need a QB switch to beat Nevada, which implies you've seen enough to make the decision.According to TOS Dochterman said on the radio he has heard the change has been made.
Anything other than complete dogshit and Iowa wins that game by 10-14Like @Judge Kemp said that just makes him look even stupider for not making the switch this past week. You certainly shouldn't need a QB switch to beat Nevada, which implies you've seen enough to make the decision.
I don't give a shitAccording to TOS Dochterman said on the radio he has heard the change has been made.
Great, taking a train through New Jersey at 10:00 p.m to get back to my hotel.
The Maryland game ended up being much later than 10:00 last year with the same start time.Great, taking a train through New Jersey at 10:00 p.m to get back to my hotel.
Padilla will get his first start against Michigan, play poorly, and Kirk will have vindication.Shouldn't need a change vs Nevada, but if thinking change- would be good game to get things going with someone new.
I'm confident he will play poorlyPadilla will get his first start against Michigan, play poorly, and Kirk will have vindication.
Yet won’t be as bad as the nation’s 131 ranked QB Spencer Petras has played this year.I'm confident he will play poorly
I completely disagree with this. It’s the perfect time. If he’s actually somehow worse, then you waddle trusty ol birthing hips mcflatass back out there in Piscataway
