That guy prefers the shit piece on the fieldHIT PIECE!!!
I do appreciate the final dig at the tavern hawks. They disgust me.From TOS
That’s never going to happenI don’t care if Brian stays at Iowa. It just needs to be in a completely insignificant, powerless role.
I’m in the camp that thinks Iowa will have a new offensive coordinator next year. That, and Kirk keeping his terrified, decrepit hands off the new offense should be the bare minimum expectation.
At least wait one more game for redshirt reasonsI’d rather just play May or Labas. They probably couldn’t be any worse and neither of the others two stiffs should be in Iowa city next year
give some skill position guys some hope going into 2023
And they might not have full grasp of the offense, which we can all agree is a positive.I’d rather just play May or Labas. They probably couldn’t be any worse and neither of the others two stiffs should be in Iowa city next year

Agreed but it would be nice to know the talent pool isn’t completely dry at the QB position. It’d be further proof of how inept and stubborn this coaching staff is which wouldn’t be anything we didn’t already know.I wouldn’t find that very funny at all.
We know...it is. But we have a good QB coach to fix thatit would be nice to know the talent pool isn’t completely dry at the QB position.
Pretty much exactly as bad as expected + 10%I did not find it hard to believe it was that bad.
Who the fuck is this asshole?
A rascalWho the fuck is this asshole?
as much as I hate him right now, to be fair, I think Brian is a good tight ends coach, and O-line as well. If Kirk won’t fire him, at least demote and bring in an offensive coordinator who has the opportunity to build a succession plan for Kirks departure. Brian’s ship has surely sailed at this pointI don’t care if Brian stays at Iowa. It just needs to be in a completely insignificant, powerless role.

God damn it. No. He can’t stay in any role. Even if he is a capable position coach, it doesn’t matter. He has harmed this program in major, irreversible ways. He can not stay, and no organization on the planet outside of Iowa football would even consider it.as much as I hate him right now, to be fair, I think Brian is a good tight ends coach, and O-line as well. Say what you want about Kirk’s son, Brian Ferentz, but I'll be damned if I'm going to sit here and let you talk shit about Culver'sMaybe Kirk’s son, Kirk’s son, Brian Ferentz should open a Culver’s franchise…he already looks like he belongs at one
All you fucking people and your half measures. It’s the most Iowan thing possible. No half measures. Take care of the problem.God damn it. No. He can’t stay in any role. What OC would be willing to join the staff with Brian and Kirk still in the building? Not one that’s going to be able to keep the Ferentz fingers off the the game plan.Iowa might be in better shape firing the OL coach and demoting Brian, but I don't think you can do that.
Brian needs to go.

there are numerous examples of coaches being promoted beyond their skill set, only to settle back into a role that’s a better fit.God damn it. No. He can’t stay in any role. Not at the same place where their father is the head coach.there are numerous examples of coaches being promoted beyond their skill set, only to settle back into a role that’s a better fit.
lol what? Not at the same place where their father is the head coach.
No credible candidate would take the HC position with both Kirk and Brian on the staff. It will be hard enough to get someone good with Kirk still at HC.
Sorry, typo.lol what?
you think most new head coaches try to retain the current staff?
Brian needs to be firedWade loves him some Garta and Kirk’s son, Kirk’s son, Brian Ferentz
If Gary was all that he wouldn’t be afraid to do his job and fire Brian.Brian needs to be fired
Gary has iowa athletics in as strong of a position as we’ve been in for decades.
He’s had 16 years to run out all the lesbians.Gary has iowa athletics in as strong of a position as we’ve been in for decades.
Thats what I said, numbnuts. But you still found cause to argue with a position you agree with.Brian needs to be fired

Am I reading this right that Georgia is the best defense in the country? Illinois and tOSU don't count - they got to play Iowa
I think Brian is a selfish fucker and will stay on under the guise of not quitting. A QB coach and/or passing game coordinator may be foisted upon him. Kirk will continue to claim he’s a “good coach”. Garta will shrug his shoulders in resignation without consequence.
lol. Yes, he hates “the lesbians”. Which is why the womens coaches love him. He’s had 16 years to run out all the lesbians.
