kirk said they’d evaluate tape on Sunday Abc make a decision. if they’d made a decision in favor of Padilla, they’d have publicized it to tamp down questions during the week. this is likely a slow walk roll out of an indefensible decision to trot out peaches. hope I’m wrong, but there is zero upside in not announcing Alex asap if the decision has been made.

This entire thing is an absolute dumpster fire. Top to bottom, every single thing on the offensive side is absolutely awful. We are so far beyond blaming an individual player or a unit for this. It again is just so odd to juxtapose what one of Kirk's friends and fellow coach does at the powerhouse of college football when it comes to evolving on offense.

Saban has hired Mike Locksley, Lane Kiffin, Steve Sarkisian and Bill O'Brien as his last 4 offensive coordinators.

During that same time, Kirk hired a nearly 70 year old out of work Greg Davis and his son, Kirk’s son, Brian Ferentz. He also brought back his previously run out of town and out of work Ken O'Queef and made him the highest paid QB coach in the country before running him out of town yet again so he could give that job to Kirk's son, Brian Ferenz.

Kirk is a good coach and does a good job. Saban is the greatest college coach of all time by a lot. He’s a 1 of 1. There are a lot of guys that could do what Kirk does, and a lot that can do better. But it is true the majority will be worse. Just look at Iowa’s tackling, historically very good in the margins, penalties, etc. a better offensive mind paired with this defense and watch out!
