BF is staying.
BF is staying.
And a terrific offensive line with Blake Corum. With the QB we just picked up in the portal...
In what role thoughBF is staying.
Hassan Haskins was their main back. And a terrific offensive line with Blake Corum.
We don't know that Petras is gone yet.Think about it. It's as though someone read Iowa Fan's wish list and is granting them all.
No more Gavin Williams
No more Arland Bruce
No more Spencer Petras
Add a real QB
Add a playmaking WR or two
Get rid of Kirk’s son, Kirk’s son, Brian Ferentz
Shows you what I know!Hassan Haskins was their main back.
I'm sure the coaches doWe don't know that Petras is gone yet.
Cart before the horse, homey
no role is acceptable given what he’s doneIn what role though
He is persistent.I get that Proctor has assured Iowa, but Saban ain't making that flight if his chances are zero.
With this staff it sure seems like a way for the ferentz fam to not hurt Brian’s feelings too much.So people are seriously thinking that Brian will stay on Iowa's coaching staff, being demoted with a paycut from Offensive Coordinator? I really only follow the coaching at Iowa, but that doesn't seem like a thing that happens.
I think it’s more likely Brian becomes Director of Operations or an analyst for the program. So people are seriously thinking that Brian will stay on Iowa's coaching staff, being demoted with a paycut from Offensive Coordinator? I really only follow the coaching at Iowa, but that doesn't seem like a thing that happens.
If Brian is retained as OC, Iowa fans should burn down the football officesBF is staying.
Kirk seems like the type of old school guy that agrees with you, Gus.Fuck Brian’s feelings. That’s what the 900k was for
Moist too?I get hot when Gus is passionate
That's my understanding of what happened. $600k for McNamara. Somewhere between $800k-$1M for Proctor. That isn't coming from everyone's $20/month contribution to The Swarm.
As emasculating as it was to have everyone in the country talking about you only having your job because of your dad, can you imagine how bad it would be if they hired someone else to actually do the job and he stayed on in some sort of obviously protected role?So people are seriously thinking that Brian will stay on Iowa's coaching staff, being demoted with a paycut from Offensive Coordinator? I really only follow the coaching at Iowa, but that doesn't seem like a thing that happens.
And not all of it is coming from The Swarm. As of October 27, IowaSwarm had made $1.4 million in 4 months, mostly from some large chunks from big donors.
He’s probably taking a rental to Iowa City to scout Iowa’s bowl prep.I get that Proctor has assured Iowa, but Saban ain't making that flight if his chances are zero.
That money (at that time) was earmarked for current players on rosters, not new recruits. And not all of it is coming from The Swarm.
OC. Hope I’m wrong. Want to be wrong. In what role though
What if Kirk reads what you said and decides to bring him back?! Shitty fan!!OC. Hope I’m wrong. Want to be wrong.
Dodged the Oregon bullet now have to fend off Saban.I get that Proctor has assured Iowa, but Saban ain't making that flight if his chances are zero.
I guess we got some big probz to deal with. What if Kirk reads what you said and decides to bring him back?! Shitty fan!!
People more than likely aren't going to give up the perks they get for those donations (close parking, good seats) in order to donate to a collective. The frustrating thing about Iowa's slow start in the first year of the NIL is that theoretically, NIL should be a net positive for Iowa. They're very rarely getting the truly top tier recruits anyway, but in terms of other comparable schools, Iowa does relatively well in private donations, which would indicate the money is there to be successful if done right.
After them witnessing the past few years of Iowa Offense I disagree.People more than likely aren't going to give up the perks they get for those donations (close parking, good seats) in order to donate to a collective.
Yeah but that's just to eat the inventory, not to maintain.I’ve heard Brian is looking into buying a Culver’s.
So does HarlanIf the model is Iowa pays blue blood depth players for positions of need, and they can pull it off…sign me up right now.
I love sloppy seconds.
They weren't that sloppy after you...So does Harlan
It would be an open recognition and illustration of the rot that is nepotism. Kirk Ferentz' son sucked at the job for the several years he was sole OC. Kirk Ferentz can't bring himself to fire Kirk Ferentz' son and Garta won't step in. So, hey, here's a great idea!! Bring in a Co-OC from within the program who would be one of the few who would actually tolerate such an arrangement to prop up the loser Kirk Ferentz' son. What a shit show that would be.
If keagan truly wants to play football going forward, the staff would 100% take him back.A guy on TOS that seems to know his shit is claiming Keegan Johnson may be rethinking his decision. I can’t see the coaches letting him back if that’s remotely true.
I mean, have you actually looked at Brian’s resume? As emasculating as it was to have everyone in the country talking about you only having your job because of your dad, can you imagine how bad it would be if they hired someone else to actually do the job and he stayed on in some sort of obviously protected role?
That's a retarded look for Nick.
