Sounds like he’s looking for immediate playing time, which is fine, but I don't know if a guy with two career carries for one yard is going to find what he is looking for.

Maybe he got Keagan and Kaleb confused.

Kaleb and Williams is a good 1-2, and I know coaches like Patterson. But that is again not a deep RB group. Need more bodies

This is Iowa we are talking about, let's wait and see which players actually become Hawkeyes when all the dust settles.
I don’t think waiting is proper “didn’t want him anyway” protocol.

I thought the rumor was LeShon was going into the portal.
No, it was a RB and turned out to be Gavin.

I think Iowa is more than fine at RB. Kaleb and Leshon with Jizz and the freshman is not bad at all.

Yeah, I know Harris likes Iowa but I can’t imagine we are going to be an attractive destination for a stud given our current depth

Again, I'm not sure on all of those guys. The ones I would be the most confident is Holden and Keegan Johnson. The D2 guy as well.

Supposedly at least 2 Michigan guys, but they for now seem to be more speculation. Not that they won't happen, but who exactly they are.

Is that player led NIL group still a thing or did they combine?

Fucker will probably end up at ISU as they can show him game film throwing to WRs

I was at a bar watching Iowa get annihilated by Tennessee.

I turned to my friend and said, “Kirk is going 12-0 next year.”

When Cade transferred in last week, I posted on HR that Iowa is going 12-0 in 2023.

In chat during the hoops game I doubled down on that prediction.

My track record speaks for itself.

Howla absolutely is right about his prediction.

Iowa went 12-0 in 2015. Then, only one game later, Iowa lost and he puked and cried himself to sleep in front of his girlfriend.
Because 13-0 against the bad guys would’ve been too good. Too storybook. Too magical.

And of course it was taken from us.

I’m excited to see one of the young guys doing it. I don’t have high expectations, but in a game with nothing on the line, I’m looking forward to it.

I would never expect a guy like Jack Campbell to sit out a bowl game (although he probably should) but have to wonder what LaPorta might be thinking after getting injured so recently

They are players. Hawkeyes. They want to play.

So the options are that Iowa’s recruiting coordinator is trolling former players on Twitter or is really dumb? Do I have that right?
As one of the players he is trolling is going for 13 catches for 162 yards against the #2 team in the county in the dot that his team beat Iowa out for…

How about both?

That season led to some serious introspection, hair plugs, and ultimately driving 2+ hours for dates for ol' @howler

Most of them are tough sons of bitches who are competitive as hell. They’re at Iowa and have succeeded in the program because they’re wired the right way. They work their asses off for years and want to win to end their year/career with their teammates on national tv.

This bullshit about “they should probably sit out” for the 1 in 1,000 chance they sustain an injury that alters their draft prospects meaningfully is such pussy nonsense.

Guys end up where they should 99% of the time. I remember when the majority of Twitter agreed that Trevor Lawrence should just sit his last year or two or that Zion should quit after his shoe blew out. Even though there was almost no injury that would change their standing.

The Jake Butt situation sucks but the probability on something like that is extremely low. Every year now, late round and undrafted guys sit out to end up in the same spot they would. Jack is a mid-round guy who would punch someone in the face if they said he should sit out.

I figured he would be projected higher than that
