When I was a senior in high school ...

1. I would have resisted having my mother accompany me on a recruiting visit.

2. I would have been embarrassed as hell to have her wearing a shirt like that one.

3. The idea of my mother moving to Iowa City so that she could be there with me while I went to college would have been a non-starter. I went to the U of I specifically to put some distance between me and my parents.

Dochterman said on today’s podcast he thinks Iowa is currently 3rd in NIL in the Big Ten (guessing behind Ohio State and Nebrantska), but he mentioned they’ll probably fall behind Michigan and Penn State soon. It’s pretty crazy to me Iowa would be 1st in line after the traditional blue bloods. If that’s sustained it doesn’t feel awful? Passing those others probably isn’t possible.

Thats correct; both current and future projected spot. Iowa’s done a pretty darn good job with this given the challenges it’s navigated
