Running game will only get better, as will the passing game.

Iowa won their 2 big games without the running game working, mostly because the other team is daring them to beat them through the airl

Running game will only get better, as will the passing game.

Brown certainly isn’t perfect….but completing a high percentage of throws and not turning the ball over is what this team needs.

Iowa won despite being generally outplayed. There is also nothing wrong with being outgained and winning. Iowa made the highest leverage plays and won. It's okay to admit that and if anything makes the win funnier and more satisfying.

Trying to claim KO return yards and net penalties as actually real yards like it's some coastal elite math is dumb faggotry. If Brent Blum posted that you would be posting it endlessly.

A lot of people remember Banks to Clark in 02 as a walkoff, but it wasn’t. It was 4th and goal but there was still around 1:00 left on the clock, which was plenty of time for that Purdue offense. They were moving the ball pretty good…across midfield I think when Iowa picked off a pass…Adolphus Shelton, I think.

They were at the 25 when they threw the pick and I think that was the only contribution Shelton ever had, good or bad.

When factoring in scrimmage (return) yards and penalties, Iowa out-gained Michigan 463-429.

Seeing this allows me to rescind text comments yesterday that we had no business winning that game. Truly a Ferentz special. Win special teams have defense do enough to hang around and see what happens.

I agree that we would make fun of Blum and this is a generally lol way to look at it, but I also believe that it's true at the same time. It's a three phase game and Iowa PWNED them severely in one of them. Discipline was everything yesterday.
