I still have no idea why Pryce was on the floor for that stretch where Minnesota pushed the lead up to 15. You needed stops and Thelwell was resting quietly on the bench. It took the 3rd or 4th time they scored over Pryce for Fran to realize it.

I’m not sure I buy that he necessarily wants to leave. Why bring in Johnson-Arigu then? Why would he leave after a game a couple weeks ago to go recruit?

He has a poorly constructed roster that hasn’t been coached how to play defense. There’s no reason Traore should give up a simple straight line drive to the basket in zone defense. Everything about the way he closed out, positioned himself and tried to defend Femi on that play was terrible. I don’t think that’s a lack of talent. That’s someone that hasn’t been coached on it at all.

I think Mike Gesell said on a podcast a few years back that they rarely practiced defense. I think it's quite clear that offense is the dominant focus of Fran's system for better or worse.
