Controversial take here. It will be unnecessarily and uncomfortably close and stupid.
I prefer the games where it feels like we’re going to blow them out but the final ends up unnecessarily close to the ones where it feels like we’re going to get blown out but somehow keep it close and win late.

Gonna be windy and cold. Perhaps Gronk can resurrect his past SDSU days of playing in those conditions.

Nebrantska is not good as evidenced last week, but, Sparty is even worse. Defense should be dominate, Gronowski running a lot seems like the best strategy since the number of games left has dwindled.

Maybe Iowa should come out throwing the ball like the last 10 minutes against Sparty

Nebrantska can run the ball and Iowas linebackers have not been great, especially on 1st or 2nd down of not giving up at least 4 yards. The defensive line also has a tendency to slant the wrong way from time to time giving up huge cutback lanes.

its going to be a low scoring slog.

This is probably Grons last game so just run his ass into the ground
While I’d love to see Hecklinski play the bowl game, I can’t see Iowa benching Gronowski and can’t see MG voluntarily sitting it out.

“Did he get enough to get the first down? It may be close!” -Spoken as the receiver is on the ground 2-3 yards from the first down.
