I like Gronowski. The offense has definitely made strides and I thought Lester made some timely calls. That TE screen was a thing of beauty. Defense really came to play in the 2H. Special Teams made some huge plays. We left some points out there but I’m pretty pleased with the road win.

I noticed on a couple replays that Iowas receivers false step on the snap. Instead of immediately going into their routes, they shift their weight back and push off with their back foot. I remember high school coaches talking about wasted movements and we were coached to avoid doing that.

Wasn't sure if every team does this these days or if Iowa just has the worst WR coach on the planet.

Yes, the receiver should drive off the front foot because a correct stance has the knee over the toe and the majority of the weight on that front foot. My guess is the wide receivers coach for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes football team does not know this because he sucks.
