Iowa doesn't have any amazing wins but also neither of their losses are bad. If there's concern about Iowa going forward it's just the general lack of good wins over the last few years, not necessarily anything about this year's team.

Yep, #22 on Sagarin and #20 on Massey, which feels about right. I think they can and will improve that as they get into the colder months.

Correct. I'm really starting to like this team if they can just fix a couple things that should be fixable. Gronowski getting healthier every week helps, find a way to fix the FG unit and stop fucking around and smashmouth run the ball.

If they can somehow learn how to throw a few forward passes (and they did show they can a few times this year), then they can still make a lot of noise.

At least per the numbers, they aren't. Iowa #20 and Minnesota #39 or #22/#46 depending on who you look at. It's at Kinnick and Minnesota hasn't played well on the road.

Still seems sort of high, but VKS.

Purdue had them on the ropes and then self destructed. Purdue out rushed them 253-30, out gained them 456-262, and generally embarrassed them on their home field at Homecoming. That's what made that Nebrantska result even better. Nebrantska looked like a bunch of frightened bitches against a team that very nearly got beat by Purdue.

Iowa at home and hopefully emphasizing a power run game should be a significant edge.

Yep, SP+ has Iowa favored by 10.2.
