The Gator Bowl has had 20+ ranked teams play since 2000. The Music City Bowl, Iowa is the 6th.
Dec 30th at 2:30 compared to Gator Bowl historically being on the 1st or 2nd.

I agree they are similar in order of picking, but Gator Bowl has history.
