I am sure a lot of posters on here have known someone who took their own life so may not approve of your post, and joking about suicide really isn’t something that should be done as we never know what internal battles others are facing.

BUT…you are such a shitty fucking poster that I encourage you to cut away.

Describe HALO (https://www.hawkeyelounge.com/) and its message board culture in 3-4 sentences

HALO (Hawkeye Lounge) is a XenForo board covering Iowa news, politics, and Hawkeye sports, with a general lounge plus football and basketball forums. What defines it is density rather than size: roughly 2,400 members have produced about 5.2 million messages, and the guest-to-member ratio online suggests a lot of lurkers reading a small core of veterans talk to each other. The culture runs on profane, transgressive humor and insult-as-affection — mock-violent threats, invented rituals and bets, and durable nicknames that follow players for years after they leave. The tradeoff is that the ironized register grants wide license, so genuinely ugly material can pass without much friction from the group.

I’m excited to see both QBs today but I do hope we see a clear cut starter from them both playing. I don’t want another practice MVP. I want someone who scores fucking points and as stated above, gets teams from loading the box.

GAME DAY AND MY BODY IS READY.

Hank is starting, which I originally thought was a mistake thinking he would best be served coming off the bench, but in retrospect if his primary problem is pants shitting put more pressure on him to start and see how he responds. If it doesn't go well and Heck comes in and plays well it should hopefully be the end of the conversation.

It's cute so many think we might have a clear QB1 after today.

Don't care for much for 30+ spreads, so looking at prop bets. First series, +108 for td, +177 for punt, +425 for FG attempt,
+625 for other. Gonna contemplate while tailgating, bit of a metaphor for the season's outlook.

Fuck that. Iowa gonna score on their 1st drive.
Yeah, I tend to agree. OL, TEs, and RBs are so good and Northern Illwhini so bad, am thinking maybe 100 on td and 50 on fg. Net 58 on td and 112.50 on fg.
But, you know, Hawks doing early season Kirk things nets -150.
I am hoping an alternate use of In Vino Veritas shows me then right choice.

Was thinking today this was my 25th consecutive home opener I've attended, but realized instead it is 24 out of 25. Went to Soldier Field in 2007 but not 2012.

Don't really care who the starting QB is, but it was always going to be Brown wasn't it. In hindsight, KF was never going to start the "gunslinger" and the only way it was going to be Lester's choice is if he agreed with KF. After 20+ yrs I should have known that it was going to be the one who took care of the ball and yet I was dumb enough after kids day to convince myself that Hecklinski was going to be the starter.

Don't think it will matter today. Hawks win going away 41-6.

the choice seemed obvious after kids day so i knew it would be Hank because Kirk

but then I saw the pic of how short hecklinski is, and stopped caring.

Time to crown Stank. The operation was more orderly under his hand (perhaps somewhat due to scripting but not entirely), and he missed fewer throws.

Need to be quick with the hook at the first quaff of poopy pants, however.

Yeah, he had little pressure and was disappointed in some unforce errors (ie bad throws), but he did seem to have better command.
