Anyway, no panic losing to OSU, but both lines being pushed around and lack of running game versus any opponent with a pulse is...not great.
Because we all know how well the ISU game tracks with the rest of the season...Getting shellacked by Ohio State is probably less concerning than Minnesota beating Michigan and WVU running for over 7 yards a carry against an ISU team that held Iowa to 3.2.
Sure. We can also ignore today and the Michigan game.Because we all know how well the ISU game tracks with the rest of the season...
Agree. All that matters is Washington right now.Sure. We can also ignore today and the Michigan game.
One game at a time. I like it.Agree. All that matters is Washington right now.
Heck will have the same going forward!Gronk had a major effect on the running game last year, just as Sullivan did in his brief tenure in '24.
I didn't even mind his Heisman posing. I mean, hell, he's right.Jeremiah Smith is pretty good at football. I know you don’t take WRs #1 in the draft, but holy hell that guy has some talent.
Yes? That’s all obvious but I think most of us are more frustrated with the easily correctable mistakes. Ohio St didn’t make Hank Brown hold on to the ball for 4 seconds below his waist, nor did they make him consistently miss open receivers. Smith is likely the best college WR we’ve seen (holding out judgment beyond that as a surprising number of these OSU guys are duds), but even despite that this would’ve been a competitive game with Stanley/Stanzi like QB play.IMO the main problem is that Ohio State is better than us. They are deeper, more talented, higher priced. You can type 14 posts about what you think the coaches should have done different or what the quarterback should have done different or what personnel should have been used more or less, but none of that really matters. In order for us to win vs. OSU we need to play lights out, we need some lucky breaks and they need to make mistakes. It’s hard to do.
