That's my point. He might as well shoot because when he's on the floor there's no offense at all - against good teams. Whether he shoots or not.

My favorite part about Pat’s defense is when he half asses a trap, gets split then jogs back while wildly flailing his arms and pointing at other people to fix what he just fucked up.

Connor is the worst offensive player in the Big Ten. For as terrible as he is at shooting, he is actually worse at scoring around the basket. In almost 300 minutes played this year, he has yet to attempt at shot at the rim according to hoop-math.com. Even the douche chucker Ash has 5 attempts at the rim in about 50 minutes this season. It is 4 on 5 for Iowa on offense whenever he is on the court; the lane becomes such a clogged mess that nobody has room to post up or drive. Purdue pretending he didn't exist was hilariously embarrassing last night. Overall I am a supporter of Fran, but jfc, he needs to adjust his rotations if they want any chance of winning games down the stretch. Give Sandfort his minutes, he's easily one of Iowa's five most efficient offensive players. Also, it's criminal that Kris has played the sixth most minutes for this team when he is clearly the second best player.

Tl,dr: Connor fucking sucks, play Sandfort and Kris more

Fran needs to figure out the double screen action at the top of the key that Purdue has used nonstop for the last 10 games. I don’t think I can watch Stefanovich shoot any more of those.

This game was 99% a loss going in, so whatevs. The team is still about where I expected, and they still have a shot at the tourney. Not horrible considering all they lost after last year. Really need a win over MSU, OSU, MI or ILL.
