Not even photoshopped. God damn it.
For sure. Koch made some crucial plays in the first half as well.Give me all the Thelwell and Traore please, Fran.
On a John Deere court.Brock Harding losing his job in Moline is pretty, pretty neat
Couple really good traffic rebounds on top of the two 3’s. He’s going to be good. For sure. Koch made some crucial plays in the first half as well.
Freeman had 2 fouls, were getting beat on the glass and they had size. What is the point of giving Brauns 2 minutes in the first half?
Was wondering why he kept grabbing his right wrist, which....Fran said that Josh hurt his wrist and that's why he was off.
That might be the best home crowd of the year
My favorite part was when Iowa missed a free throw, set up pressure and forced a 10 seconds on WSU.My favorite part was how they had zero shot of staying in front of that guard and he got a layup whenever he wanted.
Especially after Jess was so disappointed they wouldn’t be able to after the miss.My favorite part was when Iowa missed a free throw, set up pressure and forced a 10 seconds on WSU.
To be fair, he should have been right!Especially after Jess was so disappointed they wouldn’t be able to after the miss.
Had freeman not had two fouls I don’t think he would have.Every highlight on BTN after the game was led by Thelwell.
Fran absolutely needs to figure out his rotations. It’s painfully obvious what needs to change. If he doesn’t go to the group he ended with much earlier in the game, they’re going to get completely blown out in the first half by a better team.
Fuck around and find out sooner or later.

Fran: “It worked.”Owen Freeman finished the game with 2 fouls.
When Margaret is away Fran likes to play. Continuing the great Hawkeye tradition George Raveling started, hookers delivered to your home.
Even play one at that small arena in Coralville. The other thing it does is improve your NET rating as they are neutral site games and not home games. At the moment Iowa should at minimum be playing a non conference game in Sioux Falls, Moline, 2 in Des Moines and Kansas City every year. Doesn’t even need to be a marquee name, just something semi decent like they’ve done this year.
I was looking recently and they have a lot of home games on Tuesday nights. That's not helpful either.Even play one at that small arena in Coralville. The other thing it does is improve your NET rating as they are neutral site games and not home games.
We've gotten to the point though that Carver-Hawkeye arena is one of the worst home environments for a major college men's basketball, at least for non-weekend and non-conference games.
I like the cut of your jib, Jeff. When Margaret is away Fran likes to play. Continuing the great Hawkeye tradition George Raveling started, hookers delivered to your home.
Correct. It's a combination of apathy, terrible scheduling due to TV and Carver-Hawkeye being 25 years past its prime. There really isn't any way to improve it either. You can make the non-conference better by scheduling more games in Des Moines / Sioux City / Quad Cities, but it doesn't fix the larger conference scheduling and Carver-Hawkeye issue.I was looking recently and they have a lot of home games on Tuesday nights. Mulva baby!Had freeman not had two fouls I don’t think he would have.
Honestly, it hasn't been the same since the Fieldhouse, a slow decline. The Fieldhouse was horrible for amenities and comfort, but damn it had character and was raucous.Correct. There aren't any good options other than spending $500m+ building a new arena in an area that still won't be accessible or desirable at 8pm on a Tuesday night in January. Women's basketball still riding the high of Caitlin Clark, but that won't last.
Turns out that a hard to get to cavernous arena with shitty weeknight scheduling and a mediocre team isn't a draw. The biggest draw to men's basketball home games is a soft serve ice cream cone. Seriously.
