Nice to see that Uthoff hasn't forgotten how to pump fake out of an open three over and over step in and take a tougher contested long 2 or shitty runner.

If Moss is entering the draft, why isn't bohannon?

Jordan bohannon has a better shot at the NBA than Moss at this point.
No way.

Moss may be a dumbfuck, but he has legit length, range and athleticism.
FFS. Do any of you people watch the NBA?

The NBA is so different from college basketball. There are a lot players on NBA rosters that were average college players. However, they possess things NBA teams look for and then they develop their skills. Not saying Moss is that guy but he has attributes as Doug mentioned.

I know Fran is going to be publicly supportive, but any player off-season regimen that does not involve program specific training at this point is really stupid. They were 4-14 in conference for chrissakes. Take a break from playing, clear your mind, and get in the weight room. It’s hard to do any meaningful strength training in-season.

I don’t care what fran says in public, it’s selfish for someone at moss’ talent level to waste time on this shit.
Why do you think someone trying to make the fucking NBA is going to suddenly stop lifting weights?
No shit, if anything they are going to be strength training a lot more.
I hope they all are strength training a lot more.

Hopefully the whole team declares for the draft and gets told to play some fucking defense. Hearing it from the coaches didn't seem to have much of an impact.

Guy not affiliated with university uses image and likeness of current amateur athlete that is literally taken from the athletic dept media library and creates a public social media promotion to drive viewers to a platform through which he can potentially earn money based on the number of people streaming his channel while he engages in an activity with said student athlete.

Nope, definitely not a bad idea.

I know the ncaa rules can be stupid, but come on.

I had beers with an old coworker recently that said he makes between $200 and $500 a month from people paying to watch him play some random ass video game. Crazy.

FYI I don’t even think this is creepy. Pretty cool idea to engage fans with the team.

What is the difference between that and some radio host advertising that bohannon will be on to do an interview?

There is zero danger to bohannon as long as he isn't taking any money.

Yeah, unless J Bo is getting paid, this is completely fine. Nobody is paying Barstool Iowa anything anyway.

I think it is probably a generational thing. I can't imagine doing it, but I'm sure in the past people thought it was ridiculous to watch grown men play sports.

My cousin makes a couple hundred bucks a month doing this in college. The worst part is he plays one specific game over and over and over again trying to beat it as fast as possible.

All those years as a kid I got mad at @MikeyJoe for hogging the N64 for 1 player games and it turns out I should have been paying him.

The only thing we should be worried about regarding bohannon and Twitch is whether or not chat will be open at 9 pm tonight.

I think the classy thing to do would be to let Ninja's high score stand.

Yep, he made substantial improvement offensively from his freshman to sophomore years. If his improvement remained linear (always dicey), I think he can actually be in the mix legitimately next year. Counter argument from him could be that if he only focuses on basketball next year in the G League he can do the same, but as @douglasbader pointed out with Uthoff, that carries more risk. It's a lot easier to make the NBA through the front door.
I could be way off, but his skillset doesn't suggest future NBA player but who knows?

A 6'8 PF with very little outside ability who has trouble defensively doesn't seem like it projects to the NBA at this time. Of course, as you mention, he could develop for a year or two in the G-league.

Does anyone know how often G-League players end up sticking in the pros?
http://gleague.nba.com/callups/

There's the list from this year to give you an idea. 57 call-ups so far, a lot of 10-days and a lot of two ways.

Unless I'm missing someone, the only one to actually sign a multi-year contract has been Kyle Collinsworth with the Mavs. Last year there were 51 call-ups in the entire season.

As the link says, Danny Green and Hassan Whiteside are about as successful as it gets (which is pretty great for a D-league guy, obviously)
Quinn Cook makes a second G-leaguer to sign a multi-year contract. Still uncommon, but I think it is the way the league is going with it's player development model.

Good to know JBo is a huge dork.
Well it wasn’t just bohannon, Kriener and Dailey were on his squad last night and listening to them read the negative comments people were posting was pretty funny.

‘Someone just said we went 14-19 because I’ve never lifted weights’-bohannon

Right after they got 2nd in a match ‘Just like Iowa basketball you couldn’t close out the game’

After Kriener died ‘Kriener plays like he’s got a 3rd concussion’

(Yes I watched for 15 minutes because I play Fortnite)
