I don’t know where you heard this, but it’s not close to accurate. Carton started maybe 3-4 possessions on him and switched to him several more times during possessions. 5 and 25 were the primary guys guarding Joe.

I went and watched Carton play North Scott Tuesday night. I didn't some away overly impressed but Seals is an athletic kid who can guard pretty well. Thought was was pretty explosive but he is a big ole bitch on the court. Yelling at teammates and refs the whole game.

I don't know how anyone can laugh off people second guessing how Fran will use his personnel. I still love the guy but to assume Fran is going to make the obvious decision is dumb. This is a man that continued to throw Ellingson out at PG and still can't completely get away from guys like Wagner and Uhl when he has a front court full of young guys with potential. Weiskamp will be far and away the best option at SG or SF but Fran has to make a decision to sit a player he really likes in Baer to get bohannon/Connor/Weiskamp the minutes that they need. I don't think it will be easy for him.

Fran has done some really dumb things, but when he gets a highly rated recruit he doesn't fuck around. Has he ever for a second not gone to Tyler Cook over and over despite the team being stuck with about 25 forwards? If Garza isn't stuck in foul trouble, Fran has him on the court all the time as well.

The Ellingson part is dumb, he would have never played him at PG outside of a few minutes per season if Connor was healthy and the Dom Uhl part is even dumber.

He hasn't played Uhl in more than 2 minutes in a game the entire season that wasn't a blowout.

I disagree on the Cook statement. Cook is averaging too few minutes in my eyes. He's averaging 26 mpg and Pemsl is averaging 17. That split should be more like 31/12.

How do we know Fran isn't going to continue to play Nunge out of position at the 3 and take more minutes from Weiskamp. The 12 mpg comment was obviously an exaggeration but I have my doubts that Fran will give the most deserving guys their fair share of minutes.
