5th year Soph! Connor and Patrick could be in the program for 6.Nunges going to be here 7 years
Is this decision for last year or this year? Last year I’d understand. This year would seem odd.
Could just run it all the way back in 2021. Garza almost definitely gone. Could see bohannon returning.
My understanding is that this means that the coming year basically doesn't count for eligibility. Is this decision for last year or this year? Last year I’d understand. This year would seem odd.
I assume it’s to protect opt outs.Is this decision for last year or this year? Last year I’d understand. This year would seem odd.
Ok, that makes a little more sense. But why not allow just opt outs to preserve eligibility?I assume it’s to protect opt outs.
Because you don't want opt outs.Ok, that makes a little more sense. But why not allow just opt outs to preserve eligibility?
Hockey line changes!Lol preemptive bitching!!!
Glad to have you back Jim!So, no redshirts this year means Fran will run with a 15 man rotation. Great.
Thanks, Creed!Glad to have you back Jim!
I don't get it. Why wouldn't he redshirt? Garza and bohannon are coming back next year, right? So, no redshirts this year means Fran will run with a 15 man rotation. Great.
Play basketball and get your doctorate education paid for. Sounds like heaven to me.Nunges going to be here 7 years
I thought he was looking more slim than what I saw from him in high school. He should redshirt and then become a fan favorite next year.they're listing him at 285.
quarantine did that boy no good.
Because this year doesn’t count against your 4 years of eligibility—for anyone.I don't get it. Why wouldn't he redshirt? Garza and bohannon are coming back next year, right?
I know it's practice, but loved seeing the ball fly around. The element that made those Warriors NBA championship teams so dangerous was their passing -- they knew anyone on the court could hit a shot so the ball hopped around and they were unselfish. Same with Iowa this year -- every one of their starters will be able to hit a wide-open shot so if you keep the ball hopping around horn, a great shooter will consistently get an open look. This reason among many others will be what makes this team so much fun to watch.
Love ya Fran, but LOL at the 'even the Murray twins...they're twins!' part.
Patrick no longer looks like a baby deer.

Patrick looks great.Patrick no longer looks like a baby deer.
It also helped that they had two of the greatest 3 point shooters of all time and added a 7ft superstar who can shoot better than most guards.I know it's practice, but loved seeing the ball fly around. Yeah, forgot about Josh O being away from the team so he’s probably the one. That's pretty awesome in a terrible good way.
I actually think Garza has had it.
Someone isn't a team player. They said on Kakerts podcast but every player other than 1 has had COVID and I’m guessing the 1 is Garza.
Had to be Joe. He'd be dead if he got hit with something like COVID.They said on Kakerts podcast but every player other than 1 has had COVID and I’m guessing the 1 is Garza.
I would bet he is the one that hasn't.Yeah, forgot about Josh O being away from the team so he’s probably the one.
Garza seems to be a regular at Riverside Casino.
He would used the time at home for some "nesting"Had to be Joe. He'd be dead if he got hit with something like COVID.
Fran said Josh O came to the US and got COVID.Yeah, forgot about Josh O being away from the team so he’s probably the one.

He’s just not built to be a #1 or #2 option. This season will be a much better season with much less criticism aimed at Joe IMO.Poor Wieskamp, if he went to ISU he'd had 40 year old men sniffing his jock and licking his socks. At Iowa, we rag on him for being a big, giant pussy.
Hope he proves us wrong.
He had a slump his sophomore year and lost confidence. It happens. He'll be a huge piece this year and if he sticks around for his senior year he'll be ready to be the man. He’s just not built to be a #1 or #2 option. Which senior year? Academic or athletic? Conceivably, he can play 3 more years. He had a slump his sophomore year and lost confidence. It happens. He'll be a huge piece this year and if he sticks around for his senior year he'll be ready to be the man.
If he could just look a little less like Caillou, people would leave him alone.
