Eric Bossi the national guy from Rivals went and saw him recently in a high school game. He said he does tend to float, doesn't dominate and isn't their #1 option.
He also said he had freakish athleticism, agility and skill and is worthy of his #26 ranking. And that he has all of the ability necessary to be an NBA player and reminds him of Willie Cauley-Stein.

Thank you for the insight. I don’t pay attention to high basketball at all and don’t follow recruiting other than on here. I obviously realize he is a Too 25 player. My sample size of seeing him is small, so I asked a simple question, but of course Doug had to be an angry psycho because he is an angry psycho.

Bossi thinks the in-state schools will be tough to beat. Especially ifif Kansas/Kentucky/Duke don't make him a priority soon. He's taken 4 official visits already to Iowa, ISU, USC and UCLA.

Saw him last week for first time since last season and he's improved. He was more assertive, stronger with the ball, and held his ground in the post. His ability to put it on the floor and touch from the outside is impressive.

He's far from a finished product but if he continues to work and improve he's going to be very special.

I think Iowa is positioned very nicely with him...as long as KU, Duke, or Kentucky don't increase their interest.

I dunno how to define "blue blood" but UCLA was still recruiting like one up until this most recent class when the Alford situation fell apart and USC broke through with the big local AAU teams. They were regularly signing top 10ish classes and pulling in 5 star kids
