He’s also made 4 more threes in 10 games this year than in 31 games last year despite attempting 16 more. Hes currently shooting 46% from three, with his best previous year being 34%. Maybe Fran really did break his kids’ shots.

He does the same thing every year. He starts the season hot against the Alabama St.'s and NCA&T's of the world and look like a competent D1 player. Then when the conference games against actual D1 athletes start, he turtles and disappears for weeks at a time. I would be shocked if he finished the season shooting > 36% from 3.

In the 2 Butler games I watched he still attempted those drives and tried throwing the ball in with no arch.

I always thought the difference between him and Connor in basketball IQ was huge. Patrick has almost zero hoops IQ which is amazing given the family he obviously comes from.

If you haven't noticed or heard the rumors, Fran and especially Margaret spent their formative years yelling at refs and coaches and not their precious little Patrick. Hard to learn when your parents are making excuses for you.

That's true but oddly Connor's saving grace was the opposite of Patrick. He had a fairly high basketball IQ which was good because he wasn't very athletic or overly skilled (although a good passer).
