The only thing Doug and the sunshine boys hate more than pragmatic objectivity is clit.

Our shooting percentage in these first 4 games: 62, 52, 57, 61.

Last night we missed 19 shots but had 9 offensive rebounds.

Only missed 6 2 pt shots (20-26 for 77%).

The efficiency on offense is pretty incredible.

It’s not being a sunshine boy to be able to see skill level.

Folgueiras is 2nd on the team in scoring (12), assists (3), steals (1.5), and 3 PT shooting % (50). He's also our leading rebounder (5.8)

He has 0 turnovers thus far and has only missed 7 shots through 4 games

The competition hasn’t been great, but they don’t throw away possessions on offense, or give up multiple easy buckets due to mental errors. I like that.

He’s been a great addition but look at who the competition has been. You have to keep that in mind.

Measured, well reasoned takes are soooo douchey!!!

We’ll beat bad teams, be around.500 with the bubble teams, and lose to the good ones. The Sunshine Boys happy place!

The way people were talking about him, he was going to be a Riley Mulvey type player who needed a redshirt and may never amount to anything. That's clearly not the case.

Idk what Iowa’s record is going to be. I do know I like what I’ve seen from Jirak.

Ole Miss up 56-52 against Austin Peay
Ole Miss brought in a French point guard who was playing pro ball in Europe. He's really good, controls pace, and is really efficient. That should be a really fun matchup with Stirtz.

Edit: Just looked up more info about him. He was automatically eligible for the 2025 draft because he was 22. So, he's out of eligibility now and some NBA team could pick him up at any time. What a joke.

the pear is going to go all les jepsen on us eventually (no, not an NBA pick -- time machine 22-year old jepsen wouldn't get a chance now -- but jirak will be a plus player and probably start as a sr)

sage is going to be sneaky good

Sage was the best player on his Oklahoma team that made it to the finals 3 years in a row (2nd, 2nd, 1st).

Kid is a winner. He's going to be a good player for us
Adam Haluska comp for Tate Sage long term potential? He's little taller than Haluska, but seems to be equally athletic.

Sunshine Bois are easily identifiable based on their desire to refer to players by their first names or initials.

The ball movement and action off the ball has been very impressive. I can see why BMC liked Jirak for that reason. Not an athlete but sees the floor very well. We’ve had a lot of extra passes that resulted in layups.

plus Mid Trev eats up some space down low.

The amount of layups we get is incredible.

I saw a recent interview with Iowa beat guys where McCollum was asked about a certain action they were running. He gave a generic answer and said he would give a detailed answer off the record.

I think he might be a genius and this is what we can expect. He will have counters, and counters for any defensive counter.

The offense is predicated on getting the defense off balance with ball screens. Once you gain the advantage the defense scrambles and it’s a matter of getting the best shot available at that point.

It’s all about reads and counters. It’s fun to watch and extremely hard to guard.

Apparently hard to coach too because why doesn’t everyone else do it?

Takes patience. But you’re actually seeing more and more teams move to this style.

But have you considered that had Iowa hired a negro coach that Malik from Crane and D’andre from Marshall would have been in Iowa City and not these faggy white kids?

At least if we would have done that, @TheSad aka The Human Clit and L. Wade Dumbfuck would have shut the fuck up and not ruined a bunch of threads.
