Meanwhile college basketball loses a redshirt by simply breathing on the court. Makes total sense.
yesIs Leonard the 6-8 guy that hasn't really played much football that they took a flyer on
He's putting on 15 pounds a year since high school so he'll be 290 by fall.Kennedy is listed at only 275. Hopefully they can find another DT in the portal.
His dad was a big fella, he'll be able to add some moreKennedy is listed at only 275. Hopefully they can find another DT in the portal.
Are you my AI Title Writer?!The title of this post should actually be:
SHOCK! The depth chart FINALLY RELEASED and Epenesa POISED TO DOMINATE!
The thing is, it really no longer matters. Athletics are becoming less than less tied to anything academic so eligibility limits don’t really apply. For fuck's sake, everyone now has essentially 5 years to play. Redshirt is still available even if you have played in NINE games....
1 yard run after 1 yard run against Iowa StateLester should be beaten with a fucking rubber hose for his obsession with Terrell Washington Jr., fucking lost us multiple games.
There is all the confirmation you need to know he sucked.
Couldn't cut it as the backup at ElonI am not even going to click, but that has to be about Fat Marco.
*FerentzLester* should be beaten with a fucking rubber hose for his obsession with Terrell Washington Jr., fucking lost us multiple games.

Well damn ... mint those coins! Not sure who is huffing paint thinner...that's a hell of a negative spin on those recruits. There are plenty that are more questionable, but
(a) The "dude who played ST at Auburn and has not game experience in two years...can also be described as "a former 4* top 200 recruit that has three years of eligibility left, played every game for Auburn in the SEC last year as a RS Frosh on punt/FG/PAT line, and followed his position coach to Ames" https://247sports.com/player/deandre-carter-46115707/high-school-264580/
(b) the "guy from OU..." is also a former 4* top 200 recruit that has battled injuries to stay on the field but when healthy started the first four games of the season for OU in 2024 before losing the rest of the season to injury" https://247sports.com/player/jake-taylor-46094663/college-282246/
The "QB they got from ASU" who you quote to have a transfer rating below JJ Kohl (for the almost zero value that transfer portal rankings are worth. The offer lists are much better than the "portal rankings") has thrown for 8,600 yards and 52 TDs in three years as a starter, plus ran for another 1200 and 15 TDs leading Arkansas State to a 21-16 record as a starter.
There are a ton of depth signings among the 40 or so transfer commits, but there are also some really good players. It's not trolling to say that.
Terrell had 7 sacks last year at WSU (3.5 of which were against Ole Miss, Washington, and JMU)
Hayes has had 39 catches and over 500 yards each of his frosh and soph years at Tulane.
Awls has 124 tackes and 9 INTs in his two years starting at Toledo.
Pettaway was the MAC frosh of the year as a RB and first team all conf KR at Bowling Green.
Jackson was a top 100 recruit as a WR as OU before eventually landing at Tarleton St and putting up 800+ yards and 6 TDs last year.
Exline was a 2 time D2 All American LB with 143 tackles, 19.5 TFLs, 5.5 sacks at UTPB last year.
King was one of the top OL in the MAC last year.
They certainly won't all pan out... and there is absolutely going to be depth issues. And there is going to be a lack of a high end first team all conference type star, but the roster isn't going to be a wasteland either.
I enjoyed the "top 100 recruit at OU that eventually found himself at Tarleton State". There are several reasons you find yourself at Tarleton State as a Top 100 recruit. Not many of them good.King didn’t make any of the MAC’s three all-conference teams or any of Phil Steele’s four all-conference teams. PFF graded him as the 151st best OT in college football last year, and he gave up more pressures in the MAC than Iowa’s starting tackles gave up combined.
“One of the top OL in the MAC” is hilarious.
I haven’t seen anything about this dude on other boards. Is he still visiting? This guy might be about to commit or has committed....
I hate to be a dick, but that little trend has occurred under multiple coordinators on both sides of the ball. I’m not sure that’s Lester’s faultLester should be beaten with a fucking rubber hose for his obsession with Terrell Washington Jr., fucking lost us multiple games.
There is all the confirmation you need to know he sucked.
That original tweet by Blair was on January 4. Blair retweeted it yesterday which is why there was speculation it might be happening.I haven’t seen anything about this dude on other boards. Is he still visiting?
wanna potentially hedge a little more potentially? The potential DL I think is a different guy potentially
Potentiallywanna potentially hedge a little more potentially?
Heh, some reference to this was on my twitter feed and I vaguely recognized the name but didn’t remember he was at Iowa. Just figured it was general portal fodderShocking

Former Iowa football QB re-enters NCAA transfer portal
As the chaotic NCAA transfer portal continues to unfold, a former Iowa football quarterback has entered it for the second time.hawkeyeswire.usatoday.com
"The 6-foot-2, 225-pound quarterback spent the past season serving as the backup quarterback for Elon, where he threw for 113 yards on 8-for-20 passing in three games played for the Phoenix. Lainez also rushed for 30 yards on nine carries."Couldn't cut it as the backup at Elon

Keep us postedHaven’t heard.
I got you.Keep us posted
I got you.
Yes.He’s really really good. Moving to center still the plan?
BBK approved?Still not done in the portal apparently. Have to assume he’s committing with school starting Tuesday.
Subsequent remedial effortsThe problem with changing anything is it probably means they’ll get sued for stuff in the past

This guy is a preferred walkon offer, he's friends with Diaz.Still not done in the portal apparently. Have to assume he’s committing with school starting Tuesday.
