He never really gave football a chance is the problem. One year was all and football was never the reason he is a small heavyweight. He's just not built like most heavyweights. He could easily have played DL had he put in more weight. His problem is his ideal weight class doesn't exist. I wouldn't be surprised if Dreshaun Ross has the same experience.

My beef is putting all his eggs in the Brands basket. Those guys are toast.

Looks like I need to get off Wade's back. He wasn't the only one who interpreted it that way. But to clarify the situation, Ben came to Iowa to play both sports. He doesn't have to quit one to play the other.

No they weren't. They were lamenting the fact that he is not playing both sports. That he seems to have given up on football. I don't see anyone in the thread suggesting he give up wrestling.
