let's take a trip down memory lane and remember the one we called "Dominique"

what could have been? is a question many have asked but few have dared answer when discussing this hawkeye legend. true he wasn't "great" in the traditional sense of being good at basketball, or exhibiting leadership, or toughness, or really anything of value. But he was there damn it, whether we wanted him to be or not, he was consistently there.

Dominique finished with career averages of 3.4 points per game and 2.4 rebounds per game. He peaked as a sophomore, when he actually showed a hint of promise and announcers the likes of Dan Dakich spoke highly of his potential. However, with the departure of Gabe Olaseni, Iowa found itself with gaping hole, a hole that only Dominique could fill, despite his slender frame. with Woodbury leaving the following year, and studs like Uthoff and Nicholas Baer and Dale Jones manning the "3" spot for which McCaffrey originaly seemed to groom young Uhl, the center spot beckoned. Uhl wasn't up to the task and sucked from then on.

for ease of refernece, Uhl as a sophomore averaged 6 ponts and 3.6 rebounds per game, shooting 45% from three. He never regained that form however regressing to 24% and 0% his final two years.

In retrospect it seems apparent that Uhl was hurt badly by switching positions halfway through his young basketball career. in the end what was most impressing was the incredible aloofness, as though he domed a blunt before each game. And now it's over.

Renewal hearing in 15 this yahoo shows up with neighbor's webcam video of one guy cowboying bullets in the air and another guy selling bootleg t-shirts from his trunk, DENIED. Administrative appeals lost. Court case filed, lost. The yahoo gets arrested for being a child perv, reports of case leave little doubt he is a perv. Sometime in Feb yahoo slanders Moe's character at meeting of local business leaders. Feb 20 loses appeal, last gasp seeking cert from Indiana Supreme Court filed but unlikely at best. Business just down the street has a renewal hearing, Moe goes and sees yahoo watching from across the gallery.......and explode he did.

One attendee of Monday's meeting said Moe and Miller had not been talking prior to the attack. Instead, the attendee said, Moe abruptly "rushed across the room" to attack Miller.

"It was unbelievable," the person said.

His glasses were also broken. Investigators found scratch marks and redness along Miller's neck, according to court documents
