would Lazard have jumped to goaltend the field goal and then returned it all the way?

Well, it's better than empty seats. Makes sense to get what ever you can, even if it's ten bucks.
Wow that is fucking sad. TCU is/will be ranked top 5. And this is one of the very few chances ISU will ever have at beating Texas

Getting into those mini pack games and finding your seat is going to be a NIGHTMARE!

Paying for that new South End Zone $19.50 at a time.

I'm actually rooting for a bowl near miss a la a Mac era Big 12 north championship fail.

Probably enough to keep the walking (err kneeling) embarrassment around for at least another year of upswing.

I like college football, so I usually go to one ISU game a year. I might check out the TCU game since I've never seen them in person. Especially since Iowa is the 11 AM kick that week.

I guess running down a pick 6 is a pretty important part of being an Iowa State wide receiver.

ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN!!
Sadly, I attended that Friday night Okie State debacle. For $10. From the ticket office. What a joke of a program.

Also got to see the Texas screw job the following season, so that was enjoyable.

Agree completely. Ideal world is 5-6 heading in to final game and a complete screw job by referees loses that last game. No bowl game, but the "program headed right direction" and sympathy for Rhoads leads to an extension. More fiery speeches, Pollard going off on referees, more mini packs. It would have it all.

The CyFan "ISU would win 9 games a year in the Big Ten" narrative is particularly hilarious given that teams like Indiana, Purdue, Illinois and Rutgers have similar or greater talent on their roster and aren't coming close to that total.

Exactly.....put ISU in the B10 and they would finish at or near the bottom in either division. And BTW, the "such a tough schedule" thing is a sham.....the B12 is vastly overrated with paper tiger teams that run up the scores playing against their league wide horrible defenses.

Nebrantska fans used to talk about how easy the Big 10 was before they joined it. I loved it when they all whined about how unfair their schedule was during that first season...

An inordinately large portion of that fanbase are tremendous dumbfucks with very limited knowledge of the sport.

Really when Sam B is your QB, limiting the damage from his fuck ups has to be one of the things they focus on the most in practice.

I hope that faggot ends his career with 1 conference win. Lucky for him they got to play the worst team in college football history this year to pad his conference wins stats.

They're convinced that they're definitely going to beat TT. Some Clone homer on KXNO tonight was trying to explain what TT might be thinking and how they might be pissing themselves at the thought of facing ISU, and one of his lines was, "...This is the team that came to Lubbock in 2011 and won...."

LOL.

They are honored to be part of the Big12, one of the two best football conferences in America, but would consider moving to the Big 10 if the offer was right.

So ISU gave out those $99 mini packs to start the year, now they're giving out $39 mini packs at the end of the year.

What is Pollard going to do to sell season tickets next year? Provide an "I owe you fellatio" card with the purchase of every season ticket?

Why would anyone buy season tickets to that dumpster fire when the mini packs get you all the games you want at a lower cost anyway?

The best is the tour he gave to the media at the stadium right before the Iowa game where he took a crack at Iowa while swelling with pride about his new end zone seats and ticket sales. Didn't take long for that smile to get wiped off his face.

There's still a big $99 sign up on E. University.

Probably not even worth updating.

Occasionally I think I'd like ISU to win a few games to help Iowa's sos but then I come to my senses. Fuck them and their "we beat Texas at Texas" fans.

Keep in mind that was a sub .500 Texas team four years ago.
