I explained to you why I think it with the resumes of the coaches we have plus the fact we’re the worst offense in the country. I acknowledge I’m not saying the Betts or Hodge are bad coaches.
I’m asking you to explain why you feel I’m wrong with an argument. It’s how people discuss things. I understand they’re is no way to “answer” my question with certainty. But you could explain why you think I’m wrong. Which I definitely could be.
Nevermind. Don’t worry about responding. It’s a theory I have that you don’t agree with therefore I’m an idiot. I’m done wasting both of our time on this
And what evidence would you need to disprove the hypothetical you laid out and answered with an “easy no”? I don’t think you, I, or anyone else has a real clue to your question. I think the two you’ve identified as “good coaches” would find jobs elsewhere. Why? I don’t know, they seem good at their jobs. Maybe I’m reading your statement too literally and you meant it in a way like I do when I say watching iowa play offense makes me want to stab my eyes out. This process has sucked, and Kirk had pretty much zero chance of getting it right in my eyes, not because of any of the people rumored or interviewed, but because of Kirk. He’s bad at offense, stubborn, and snarky. I would have preferred he retired because watching half a functional football team fucking sucks. That said, whomever is named isn’t Kirk’s son, Brian Ferentz, and that’s improvement. Before rumored for Iowa’s job I think I knew the name of exactly 1 of the candidates, maybe you follow coaching a lot closer than I.
