I don't believe I've shared this story before, but my daughters and Brian's oldest were in the same pre-school class a few years back. At the end of the school year, the school put on a musical performance for the parents in the kids' classroom. The school didn't put out folding chairs for the parents, instead the parents had to sit on the students' chairs which look like these:
Brian and I ended up sitting next to each other during the performance. We looked like a couple of circus elephants trying to balance on a stool:
Anyway, I didn't find him to be arrogant or coming across as being born on third base -- although all we said to each other was "good show".
