I said a couple pages ago that it remains unclear if this is Brian, Spencer or a combination of both and that the only way to be sure was to get rid of them both. Reviewing the new information today, I stand by that

Iowa criminally underutilizes most of their offensive skill positions.

Anybody else remember Daryle Lamonica? Big arm, but had a habit of hitting nothing but turf, if he was lucky. Couldn't read a defense more complex than junior high. Madden finally replaced him with Stabler, who had a smaller arm and was less mobile but was accurate and could read. After that the Raiders became the Madden Raiders of the 70s.

Sir, the Mad Bomber was a 2x Pro Bowl QB and a 2x AFL MVP. Please do not compare him to Spencer Petras.

The lack of personnel at key positions in year 24 is inexcusable. The staff knew what they had last year and did nothing in response. In the era of the transfer portal it’s especially inexcusable.
