On Kirk’s call in show last night Dolph was praising OSU and casually remarked on OSU making the transition from game managing QB’s (named Krenzel and another late 90s stiff) and a loaded defense to play making QBs to go along with a top tier defense. ( I don’t think Dolph was doing anything other than trying to compliment OSU but clearly touched a nerve with Kirk) Kirk agreed but then quickly commented on OSU’s 2002 title using the strategy of elite defense paired with a game manager at QB.

The fact Kirk had to interject the 2002 OSU comment exemplifies his commitment to shitty QB play and overall stubbornness. The entire exchange was maybe 30 seconds but is evidence he might be a bigger problem than just Brian’s ineptitude.

Craig Krenzel was a tough kid with underrated atleticism and a poor thrower. Similar to Nate Chandler in that regard. I’d take either over the current guy in a heartbeat. God I hate the package Spencer brings to the table.

Spencer sucks, he is a ball and chain to this team and makes Brian's already shitty offense even shittier. Offense is kinda like a marriage, you see. Marriage overall kinda sucks, but if you have a great spouse its OK, but if you have a shitty spouse its unbearable.

Haven't quite figured out the shitty OL and below average receiver aspect in my scenario but its a work in progress.

You guys know what I'm talking about though, I think.

The problem isn’t that Iowa’s offense is like 2002 OSU, the problem is that 2022 Iowa isn’t in the solar system of 2002 Ohio State. If it was they’d have 1 loss.

Given that the results on Saturday are in the bottom 1% of the entire sport, can you help me understand why you wouldn’t at least TRY something different at QB?”
