I feel pretty good. Passing game obviously needs work but the defense was stellar in the second half and they really got the running game going. It would have been nice if they would have covered but oh well.

That Iowa guard just got absolutely destroyed by the DL. Hope that fucker doesn't see a single snap in meaningful games

The thing that continues to fucking suck and spans every OC at Iowa since Ken O'Queef left the first time is that they absolutely refuse to use the middle of the field. Not a single fucking slant, a crossing route, anything that attacks the middle and allows a WR to run. Nothing but out routes over and over and over.

It’s Kirk’s fault.

Passing game still sucks, which may have something to do with the fact that we were running the standard dumbed down dipshit offense. Once we figured out we could Wisconsin them to death, that's what we did.

Other than that QB losing his mind for one drive, the results were fine. Clean up the dumb shit and we'll be fine next week.

Outside of Harrell struggling and Gronowskis rough start there was pretty much nothing you could take away from that game other than I don’t think it matter which running back plays.

I don't know how much longer Kirk is staying, but I wouldn't be surprised if the days of his willingness to throw a bunch of money at a transfer QB are over.

Just lighting money on fire at this point

Hopefully Gronowski just had some first game, big crowd jitters. I like the play calling much more with a running threat at QB.

Gronowski looked kind of shitty when I watched. Hopefully it's a one game deal.

I told myself that with Cade as well.

Running game was decent, passing game seems to have taken a step back somehow.

Once again the flow of the game is so clunky. So many long waits for commercials.
Iowa punted once and completed 6 passes or whatever it was. Time of possession had to of been around 42 minutes of Iowa just handing it off and wasting 7 minutes of game clock before scoring. They had to squeeze in commercials at every opportunity.

A factor in Gronowski's struggles is likely Lester and Kirk wanting to establish the ground game and not show too much on film for ISU.
There's struggling and then there's 44 yards passing.

I agree it's too early to tell, but there was plenty of reason to be concerned.

One thing he can do is run though, which is super nice for a change

Also, the new seat backs suck ass. They’re super rigid and it’s better without them

Gronowski’s left leg brace/wrap was McNamarian. I thought his shoulder was hurt, has he got a bum leg too?
