lack of blitzes in the 2nd half was baffling.

That midget cannot start at LB next year. If Lester stays, I think Iowa is ok next year. Lots of younger dudes who are more athletic than some of the guys playing this year.

Hopefully Iowa will have a qb who can run a little and pass. Gronowskis only shot at the nfl is at TE.

LB will be fine if they start playing the stud freshmen next year.

I actually think you can win in the douche with a QB like him. He’s gonna miss some bad passes but the qb run game is meaningful.

which makes the play calling at the end that much more absurd. We should have run zero times. We ran 3 and none of them were a QB RPO

Less than an inch seperate the last two games. dB gets his arm an inch lower last week and he deflects the ball down the sideline. And a toe width for Wetjen today. Wild
I know this is a prevailing thought from last week but Hall if anything needed to have his arm higher last week and even then it was just a perfect fucking throw. Watching the replay from the two angles in this video, there was nothing Hall could do on that play. He dropped it perfectly over his shoulder. He was never on the same plane as the ball.

I was on my bike listening to the radio at the time, but it sounded to me like 3 runs with neither Gronk nor Moulton carrying the mail. I may be old fashioned, but I'd just as soon live or die with my best playmakers at that point in the game.

If Gronowski pulls the ball on 2 of those attempts he gets some solid yardage.

We rotated backs too much. Moulton needed more carries.

100%. 1st and 2nd down to Jazz, 3rd down to Moulton. 3rd down might have been an RPO. Not sure though.

3rd down was actually to Williams. No idea how he is their 3rd down back.

2 or 3 of the starting OL were out on that drive

Best offensive in at least the last 5 years but of course it aligns with our worst defense in that same timeframe

And our hardest schedule. It is completely criminal that KF wasted our best chances at the playoffs with his dipshit son running our offense. It’s indefensible.
It's iowa football. They're a good linebacker class away from being in the playoffs. It's the way it is. The stars have to align one way or another. QB sucks though for sure.

Beyond getting soaked and losing, we had a great time. Everyone USC person we encountered was great. For the few that showed up, they’re in to the game (unlike UCLA) but there’s no dickheadishness about it like you’d get a Nebrantska, Wisconsin, etc. The atmosphere is pretty good. We sat next to a USC player from the 80’s. He cheered hard but was a nice as could be. Some other guy giving my kid his one pass to go on the field. Post game everyone was chill and complimentary. Some 25 year old after the game (who might have been slightly lit) telling us how cool he thinks the Hawkeyes are.

I think people out here might be nicer than the Midwest and there’s a noticeable absence of meatheads. I liked Denver more, but I could absolutely live here.

Every Californian I've ever known has been the chillest, easiest going person. Decidedly not scared of the others.

He never even mentioned anything about any of that, except at the end when my son asked his name. We looked him up later.

7 years in the NFL and a Special Teams POTY…safe to say a lot of guys like that would act like they are a big deal.
Geese is confused. He was so sure of it going in.

Damn, if you would have online stalked him immediately after learning his name you could have got his autograph.
