That was an old school ass kicking by the offense (and the defense until the QB got hurt), and with Heck it allowed Lester to call plays that looked and felt like Iowa again.

Smash mouth football, ripping off 6+ per carry, play action rollouts and quick and accurate decisions by the QB. TE's kicking ass while the WR's contributed what was needed.

Let's continue to do that. Fuck the Hank immobile limited mobility offense where we try to force it to the WR's over and over.

The second half defense was kinda meh but they had to go against an entirely different style than what they prepared for at that point.

Buffington is awesome, but Montgomery deserves credit for how well he’s played this year.

At the beginning of the year we all pretty much agreed that if Iowa could take one out of these three games our season would be heading in the right direction. We took 2. It appears Michigan and Washington aren't as good as we thought, and some of the remaining opponents are better (Northwestern, Minny).

The crowd was loud and visible. Really represented well.
That was one of the more fun wins in awhile.
But, now Kirk has the QB question in front of him, which he has never handled well.
But, a fun problem to have at 5-1, with a week to rest.

Edit: And I thought RGIII was really good as a broadcaster. I was impressed.
They were really backing Hecklinski.
