Who was it that was saying we hadn't kicked the shit out of Minnesota in Iowa City in years?

Show yourself, go the sculpture park with lube, and do the same defeatist bullshit in two weeks just to be sure.

What a wonderful afternoon, and now it sets up 2 weeks of fun and another opportunity to make some noise and keep hope alive.

Iowa kicking the shit out of Minnesota and watching Iowa State fall apart at home will never not be fun.

A bunch of teams lost or might lose at the bottom of the Top 25 (USF / Texas / Illinois), so with that ass whooping of a 5-2 team should be able to be ranked this week.

Doesn't really matter though as the first CFP rankings come out on Nov. 4th and might be ranked in the Top 20 going into the Oregon game.

Nice win. I'm happy. But we're still gonna lose 3 more games. Love our run game but the D isn't good enough to overcome our shitty passing game and almost embarrassing kicking game. I completely disagree with those who said the D was great tonight. Gave up way too much on the ground against a team that was less than zero threat to complete a pass downfield and almost zero threat to complete any pass. Toss up game next week, extremely likely to lose @ USC, highly likely to lose against Oregon, and likely to lose @ Nebby. Bring the bows, bitches
Hey @Bovert, I think the defense is pretty good and Minnesota wasn't a toss up game it seems.

Should be either noon on Fox or 230 on CBS for Oregon. Us and Indiana at Penn State are the only reasonable options

PJ is actually growing on me. He’s been decent up there yet unable to beat their hated rival.

A rigorous buttfucking indeed. That one was for Lois!

And I’m growing ever more frustrated with that bullshit loss (again) to those animal fellators from Ames. The only way to offset that is a win versus Oregon.

I wish Minnesota fans were more passionate as it would have made the win more exciting for me as I was out and about bar hopping. But most except their fate and position in the grand scheme of college football.

lol I did. He looked like a Nebrantska fan as they have an disproportionate number of redheaded losers. It has to have something to do with historic migration patterns but whatever it is it ain’t working for them.

2:30 games are awesome. Watched my son play soccer at 11 in the metro and was walking into Kinnick 10min before kick then followed the Gopher motorcade home.

Pj is one of the fun ones to embarrass
He was surprisingly non-douchey in the post-game until someone asked him why they’ve been unable to close the gap with Iowa. He mentioned “winning down here 2 years ago” like 3 times in his response

Maybe it wasn’t them, but not sure who else would have 3 charter buses followed by state troopers driving on I-80 west to the DSM airport

Would think Minnesota would fly into Cedar Rapids? IDK, but Des Moines doesn't make a lot of sense. But neither does Minnesota.

bragging about a win that was a bullshit miracle of a gift call through review, should have zero wins over Iowa. Poor Floyd.

I gave a few playful "FUCK NESTOR!" jabs today, but can anyone blame him for leaving? He wasn't going to start and had the chance to start at Minnesota and has been good for them. They are going to win maybe 8 games and he got some NIL money.

He likely made the right choice.

Nestor took his Whoopin today for his transgressions. We’re square by my estimation.

I like to think that once he showed up at Minny, PJ had him come to his office and explain how the Iowa D works. Nestor told him everything and PJ just said “that’s it? we already knew all that. goddammit.”

I thought Nestor was pretty good today. Even on the TD it was just a great play by RVZ.
