They look like a good defense overall that any other team in the country would be happy to have, might not be the ultra-tier of Iowa teams but they are good. 3 games and 13 points total is crazy no matter who it is.

I think the Iowa reporters have all pointed out, they only really play 2 teams with a top tier offense.

I thought Ty Hudkins looked pretty damn good in his snaps yesterday. He was then replaced by Monsters favorite player Cody Haddad who also made a very nice play. Next years schedule looks like a real bitch but the team should be quite good.

It’s a mystery for all mankind. I saw people on Twitter saying it was because he didn’t do anything until his Sr year, but I looked and he had over 1000 total yards and 12 TDs as a Jr, so it’s not that. Besides it’s rarely stats that get HS kids on the radar anyway. The kid is a track star and has NFL genes. It’s recruiting malpractice.

I saw people on Twitter saying it was because he didn’t do anything until his Sr year, but I looked and he had over 1000 total yards and 12 TDs as a Jr, so it’s not that. Besides it’s rarely stats that get HS kids on the radar anyway. The kid is a track star and has NFL genes. It’s recruiting malpractice.

He said after the game yesterday that he weighed about 160 lbs heading into his senior year. His high school coaches must not have been putting his name out there and he must not have stood out enough for other high school coaches to at least mention him to college coaches. His only option other than walking on at Iowa was going to Iowa Western.

His high school coaches must not have been putting his name out there and he must not have stood out enough for other high school coaches to at least mention him to college coaches. His only option other than walking on at Iowa was going to Iowa Western.

I’m guessing his dad has plenty of connections in the coaching/recruiting ranks. More likely they put the word out he wanted to play at a certain level or nothing, with his backup plan being Iowa Western. It’s the only thing that makes sense as it wasn’t like he even got any late offers after a great Sr year.
