Not Myles Johnson?Let’s sign emarion ellis, and add either Kopp or harrar. That’s it.

heard he’s going back to Cali. Not Myles Johnson?
Kopp makes no sense. They need a big and an athletic wing. Kopp is neither.Let’s sign emarion ellis, and add either Kopp or harrar. That’s it.
that’s because northwestern wasn’t using him properly.Kopp makes no sense. They need a big and an athletic wing. Kopp is neither.
Other than not being a very good shooter or rebounder, sure.Kopp would step in nice to help with the loss of shooting and rebounding if Weiskamp leaves.
Oops, I was thinking of John Shurna.Other than not being a very good shooter or rebounder, sure.
pick a random year and look at the Rivals150 list. Filter out all prospects except the white guys. Using column C, sort them by position, 1 through 5, 1 being a PG and 5 a Center.Other than not being a very good shooter or rebounder, sure.
he grew up down south- always been under the impression he wanted to play down thereI was surprised he didn’t have any P5 interested although the glut of transfers probably worked against him on that front.
Drake recruited him a bit under Medved and still had some interest after the change although I’ve heard it was good for him to get away from some of his friends here. He still has family in the NOLA area so it made some sense for him to be down there.he grew up down south- always been under the impression he wanted to play down there
Sort of want.jpgWhoa
Sort of? He’d be at the top of that list of Iowa recruits all time.Sort of want.jpg
He wore an Illinois jersey though.Sort of? He’d be at the top of that list of Iowa recruits all time.
Yep, you are going to get a trade off of stud mid-major guys moving up to P5 and P5 wash outs coming down to mid-majors.Mid-majors are basically JUCOs for P5 programs at this point. There’s not much point in going after high school players for them.
yes, but that was before some major program watched him put up 20+ in tournament gamesDidn't Yesufu just say like 2 weeks ago he was all in with the rest of his Drake teammates and coming back?
The day of the mid-major is numbered. The MM teams that make runs are often veteran rosters, and it will get harder and harder to keep those rosters together.Yep, you are going to get a trade off of stud mid-major guys moving up to P5 and P5 wash outs coming down to mid-majors.
It's bullshit.
Maybe they could do a double elimination tournament with fewer teams. Thing sucks though. The day of the mid-major is numbered. The MM teams that make runs are often veteran rosters, and it will get harder and harder to keep those rosters together.
Eventually the P5 leagues will break away. The tournament will be less valuable when it's only those conferences, but it'll be valuable enough to make it worth while.
This dude sucks.
they give out so many waivers at this point that this doesn’t seem like it will change much
The real shit is going to be when P5 school start losing their best players to better P5 teams. If you're Duke and you're picking apart mid majors, there is no reason you don't start picking apart second-division P5 teams as well. The point is pretty good of why even bother to recruit high school kids other than the most loyal in-state or 1 and done kids if you are a P5 elite school. Just grab players once you see they are actually good.
Duke can get almost whoever they want each year anyways as it is. That's why I never really understood the Fredrick to Kentucky stuff. They're going to bring in 4 players to play over him every year he's there. The real shit is going to be when P5 school start losing their best players to better P5 teams. not too late to tell UAB to fuck off come home, tyreke.Same. Also they wouldn’t have Yesufu if they had Locure and I am fine with that.
Thought I had caught up on this thread. I missed about 15 posts.Gus!
Agreed. This really does suck for college basketball. You are just going to have chaos with people raiding each other's programs. Mid-majors are going to lose most of their star players.
Mac Irvin Fire guys are going to get paid as many times as possible. Exhibit A: Charlie Moore.Whoa
