If you have a power five offer, you are almost assuredly a legit D1 player. You might not be power 5 worthy, but you likely would have had at least a handful of D1 offers.

Bryce Cartwright overlooked as a decent PG. Led the Big 10 in assists and he wasn’t feeding Luka.

Marcelo Gomes was HORRIBLE when he got to iowa. I’m not gonna make an outrageous claim or anything but he did get better.

CSB: My buddy who is a huge NBA fan had class with Cartwright and worked with him on some projects. Cartwright had played AAU ball with all these big time NBA players and he’d tell stories about them. But he told my friend that Paul George, who he played with at Fresno, was the best player he’d ever seen. At the time George was a rookie, coming off the bench for the Pacers, not really setting the league on fire.

I was pretty young at the time but I always thought he was a gray teamer. I shit myself when I found out years later that Tom brought him in on scholarship.

At least have the balls to stand your ground, Felch.

I can respect someone even if they are wrong about nearly everything. Someone who at the first sign of pressure melts like a popsicle on a hot July sidewalk is a different matter.

I now understand why your wife speaks of you with such disgust.

That’s not melting. That was a quick way of saying that exceptions don’t disprove the rule. 2 examples out of tens of thousands is a laughable counter argument and one that is unworthy of more than a token reply.
