By the way, Bert still has a higher overall winning percentage and Big Ten Conference winning percentage than Kurt, by a significant margin.

C'mon, Dougie. You don't want to see my man Bert patrolling the Kinnick sidelines with his big ol' dicky doo?
Not unless he is a position coach.

Coached LBs for Hayden and Kurt before. I would welcome him back with very open arms (because he's rotund).

I didn't know he's from Prophetstown. I used to go out there for wrestling now and then, it is basically still the QC.

I knew there was a reason I like the guy.

When you are fat as fuck, the only places you can shop are the giant department stores like that. Target is as nice as it gets really, as your other alternatives are Walmart and Kmart.

Did you ever buy the khakis with elastic so they could stretch bigger?

Asking for a friend.

No, but we were nearing that danger zone the next step up I believe.

I can’t even imagine a 44.

I was 6’2” 295 and I was certain my next step was going to earn me a grabber. Even then I was a 40.

Man, I have seen those pre-flight tears from dozens of mujeres many times. Honestly, there is nothing better than a beautiful girl who can't wait to get you back.

God bless beautiful women.

CJ also doesn't have the arm that Stanley has. That will be more important than scrambling ability.

Just because Stanley hasn't had big runs like CJ doesn't mean he isn't mobile.

Iowa had a ridiculous schedule.

Wyoming - 8 wins
Iowa State - 8 wins
North Texas - 9 wins
Penn State - 11 wins
Michigan State - 10 wins
Northwestern - 10 wins
Ohio State - 12 wins
Wisconsin - 13 wins
Purdue - 7 wins
Boston College - 7 wins

Average of 8.25 wins per team overall with everything included.

Illinois was the only true cupcake. Still had to play a 5 win Minnesota and at Nebrantska. Getting 8 wins out of that schedule might be one of Ferentz's best coaching jobs. Throw in a last second loss by inches to #4 Penn State, overtime road loss to Northwestern without Jewell, 1 possession loss at Michigan State and all of the injuries and that is a pretty good season. They are going to have a chance to make some noise next year.

There is a chance but losing the linebackers, Jackson and wadley are going to hurt. If there are growing pains on the defensive side it could snowball out of control early. Phil HAS to use the DL to his advantage next year to help the back seven. I fear that won’t be the case

I expect AJ to take a major step forward next season similar to what Clayborn and Ballard did in 2008. Gholston also rotated in more in the bowl game. They’re bringing in Nixon and only lose Bazata. We also heard good things about Brandon Simon last spring. They’ve always said they want 7-8 guys to rotate up front and for the first time ever they actually have more able bodies than that.

The drop off at LB in ‘14 was bad but Iowa also didn’t have defensive ends like they will next year.

The difference between 7-8 wins and 10 wins next year could depend on the growth of Smith-Marsette, Smith, Young and if Quarrells actually plays. They need more deep passes to someone other than Fant.
