I grew up liking A-1. I still use it once in awhile, for old time's sake, especially if someone else cooked the steak.

I still can't believe steak would come in at 220

I throw a touch of A-1 and worcestershire sauce on my burger patties and let them sit for a bit before grilling. It's a nice little enhancement.

I would consider this an acceptable slogan if one were to run for office.

This thread has more steak and playoff discussion than IA football.

I like steak.

I’ve grilled heart
Thing is huge and mostly round. Just slice it into inch thick slabs and grill like a burger or steak?

Marinate it and grill it. One inch slabs will work, keep it medium rare. I like it with sautéed onions and jalapeños on the side.

You can also find kabob recipes online that are pretty good.

Beef heart isn’t as lean as venison or elk heart but the fat tastes better than tallow so trim it if you wish.

Tongue is excellent. Boil it and then do a rapid chill in ice bath to pull a memebrane off. Then brine it for 24 hours or so. Then grill it and slice it thin. Eat it with some mustard for dipping and it’s wonderful. Otherwise you could chop it up for tacos but I like it straight up.

You got a like for the far superior neopolitan style pizza, but I damn near revoked it for that spaghetti shit.

ISU with 42nd SOS. Seemed high, but than I remembered how awful the bottom third of that conference was.

Sounds like they have some options they like at OL for next year (Jackson, Wirfs, Reynolds, Render are already known quantities). Hopefully banwart is back for Spring. Hopefully the Paulsens are healthy.

I still think LeGrand could be really good. Kind of the forgotten man...couldn't even get answers on his injuries...

I think Landon Paulsen probably just sucks and can just about be written off at this point but I assume Levi will be in the mix at guard if they go with Render at center

Excited about Kallenberger. He'll probably start inside but their tackle recruiting has gotten way better recently and it'll be nice to have some legitimate depth there rather than trying to convert a guard or center if someone goes down

I'm surprised Kirk is going to court over this for $9,000. I'm guessing the lawyer fees will run higher than that and he probably has more than nine grand in his couch cushions.

Yeah, it appears you didn't even read the article or you would have known the $9k isn't the issue.

Right, but it isn't about the $9k if you read the article. The reason they went to court is because he didn't agree to any of this stuff and they used it as a way to force him to and paying it would have been an admission that he was part of the neighborhood association, which he isn't.

A judge ruled in September that the Ferentzes aren’t required to join the homeowners’ association that their neighbors formed in 2015 to share road maintenance costs.
LOL. LOLOLOLOL.

The neighbors decided to form a HoA after you already bought your home and then sue you to join?
