Michigan is going to light it up from 3 against Nebrantska tomorrow and I’m not mad about it.
He is an inconsistent shooter, takes a lot of questionable/bad shots (last shot today for instance), and is dog shit on defense. Him transferring wouldn't have a negative impact.Respectfully disagree. Wagner and Ellingson are the only 2 we need gone.Moss can GFH and transfer please.
I just heard his full interview with Bobby so guessing you heard wrong.I got to my truck and heard Dolph say Fran refused questions? Lol
Said "Don't want to answer that question right now" around the 1:40 mark but it was in reference to pro ball, not transferring.
You pick the weirdest things to focus onwhen Garza falls down, it is amazing how long it takes him to get up. its like he has to look at his legs to get them to do what he wants so he can stand upThis is all spot on. He’s an 18-year-old still adjusting to his huge body, so it’s fine if he looks like a baby giraffe out there sometimes. He plays his ass off and doesn’t get rattled and that’s all he needs to be doing.Garza has a pretty good feel for the game on both ends of the court. I don't think the rap on him as not being particularly athletic is fair. Athleticism is much more than just muscle density, leaping ability and quickness. It also involves stamina, agility and coordination, and he has all of those qualities. He's stronger than he looks, he plays smart, he's a leader and he hustles his ass off. He's a helluva player as a true freshman. If he sticks around for three or four years, he's going to be a real force in the Big Ten.
I refuse to believe this. I have never seen him rebound well. In fact, I often wonder why he doesn't get more rebounds. You absolutely do not want Moss to transfer. These are college kids that are not going to make every shot. Moss has loads of potential, just needs to be more consistent. A guy like Brady does not have loads of potential and is taking up space on the roster.
I’d be shocked if one of Pemsl/Kriener doesn’t leave. It goes back and forth as to which one is awful from night to night.
I don’t feel like getting rid of Wagner is really necessary. He rebounds well and is probably their best defender so he has some value and will be a Senior. Iowa really only needs to open up one spot for a grad transfer on the wing and their roster will be damn good going into next year.
And Fran needs to be honest with himself and set a rotation.
Who do you want to play shooting guard? Some random JUCO isn't going to be better than Moss. He's a better defender than every other starter and at least showed an effort to go to the basket late in the year.He is an inconsistent shooter, takes a lot of questionable/bad shots (last shot today for instance), and is dog shit on defense. Him transferring wouldn't have a negative impact.Respectfully disagree. Wagner and Ellingson are the only 2 we need gone.Moss can GFH and transfer please.
He had 1 rebound in 15 minutes today.I refuse to believe this. I have never seen him rebound well. If someone has a stat or stats to back up the assertion that Wagner rebounds well or even average I'm willing to listen and admit wrong. I will not DMOFR

OH FUCK
I will give you $100 to stab him in the neck.I'm sitting at el bait shop and Chris Williams and hacksaw Jim duggan are both here....please God let this happen...
He was just slightly worse than your boy Michael Jacobsen for his first 2 years and that's with playing more minutes on the perimeter. I don't think he's good but he's also like 6'4".I refuse to believe this. I have never seen him rebound well. Not surprising dipshit heard it wrong. His life story.I just heard his full interview with Bobby so guessing you heard wrong.I got to my truck and heard Dolph say Fran refused questions? Lol
Disagree. Iowa will have more options at guard next year. JB, Connor, Joe, Maishe, and Moss are a solid group. Who cares if Moss doesn’t reach his potential and plays a lesser role next year? You’ve invested in him and the chance for a big payout is still there. The Moss potential thing made sense last year. Now he can GFH. And I still completely agree he has tons of potential. Just not in Iowa City.
Fucking ghouls in our media.
I haven't the slightest idea what this post means. First, Wagner averaged like half the rebounds of Jacobsen their 1st two years. Second, Wagner is listed at 6'7". And third, and most of all, all I ever did was mention that ISU has Jacobsen next year in a conversation about who ISU has next year. I never said he was good.He was just slightly worse than your boy Michael Jacobsen for his first 2 years and that's with playing more minutes on the perimeter. Are you more comfortable going into next year with potentially only bohannon, Connor, Weiskamp and a last resort Juco? He has shown he can play in short spurts. You just have to hope it clicks. I think he's a better bet than what you'll get in the market. IMO we don't have the depth to be kicking are second best guard to the curb. The Moss potential thing made sense last year. Now he can GFH. And I still completely agree he has tons of potential. Just not in Iowa City.
I put it in the other thread as well, but give him a couple of weeks to clear his head. I'm sure he is disappointed, getting outside pressure and doesn't know what to do. NBA dreams tugging on him, being embarrassed to be on a losing team and other factors have him all fucked up.
Yes. I’m done with the Moss tease. It could backfire in a big way, but him being nothing just kills this team. Let someone else take the risk. Are you more comfortable going into next year with potentially only bohannon, Connor, Weiskamp and a last resort Juco? He has shown he can play in short spurts. I was going off per 40 minute stats to be fair. 10.4 & 8.5 for Wagner vs 9.4 & 10.3 for Jacobsen. You included him in a comment about their future being bright. Fuck you, you cyclone loving fatty. We all know he's not 6'7", he's shorter than Moss and Bardo even made a comment a few games back about his height.I haven't the slightest idea what this post means. So at this point I will continue to believe that Wagner is not a good or even average rebounder as nobody has displayed otherwise, especially not you in your nearly incoherent post
He’s a good offensive rebounder- 11+% OREB%, which is second highest on the team. He is a pretty bad defensive rebounder, as he is behind all the posts, Nunge, Baer, and even Dailey in DREB%.I haven't the slightest idea what this post means. So plug that into the Fran reduction equation and he is probably just fine.C.J. Beathard level toughness
I heard the tail end of that. Not sure what was going on.I just heard his full interview with Bobby so guessing you heard wrong.I got to my truck and heard Dolph say Fran refused questions? Lol

I would take that. Huerter came in ready to play as a freshman. They're both pretty athletic and seem to be able to fill up the stat sheet. That would be a huge upgrade to what we're running out there now.I wonder if a bigger, stronger and more athletic Kevin Huerter is a good comparison for Wieskamp.
