I’m not going to pretend that Kriener is the man or anything, but he is definitely not as bad as a few people on here seem to think. He plays his ass off and has some active hands. I’d rather he play than Pemsl or Wagner undoubtedly.

I would agree currently, but if we're living in lala land and say that Pemsl can develop a shot that opens up all of his strengths. He is pretty quick for his size but he's not doing anything with defenders giving him 10 feet of cushion. IDRGAF at this point though.

Kreiner reminds me a lot of McCabe. Not afraid to shoot at all, which has its pluses and minuses. I think hes a better fit for this team, this year; maybe not next? Either way Garza is the future at the 5.

Perhaps but I see skills that a coach can work with. He looks bad at times, hell a lot of times. I’m not blind. I just tend to still believe bigs can develop.

If Pemsl was going to lose all of that weight and get in better shape, shouldn't the point of that been to add more to his game? From the looks of it, he spent the off season worried more about getting in great shape rather than adding more to his game alongside with the weight loss. Other than staying regimented on his eating and lifting, what else did he add to his game from last year? Zero jump shot and he didn't become a better defender by being leaner.

I've joked in chat that we need to make Pemsl fat again...but in all seriousness, if you are going to lose all of that weight you have to change your game to accomodate the weight change. There is no reason to get into the best shape of your life if you're not going to use the weight loss to your advantage. He hasn't done that and did not advance his defense or his mid range game. He won freshman year because he was a big boy down low and backed people down with phenomenal foot work. Now he is accepting the ball at the top of the key and doesn't know what to do other than pumpfake because he doesn't have a 3 point shot and he can't back someone down from the 3pt line. And let's be honest, even with that weight loss it's not like he is a fast player all of a sudden.

Whoever is in charge of his player development chart on Fran's staff can punch themselves in the face for his 12 month plan--he has regressed. A go to elbow jumper along with the weight loss would have changed everything for him on the offensive end.

One of those schools is not like the other. DePaul has to be so shady. They haven’t had a winning record in over 10 years and haven’t been to the tournament since 2004.

Kid has a lot of talent but is a mess. La verdad he reminds me of Cesar Salad from a few years back. Kid looked all world and "liked to shake it up" but the kid was clearly fucked in the head.

I say that and I want him to do well. I will never hate on him. But, he really has to get over himself, and it looks pretty clear that that's not gonna happen for him. I hope I'm wrong, because he has elite level talent.

not doing a good job being shady, only 5th in the Big East for the 2018 class after finishing 10th last year (247 rankings). Leitao was about the least inspiring P6 hire since DePaul hired Oliver Purnell. I'd expect a slight bump for having a better arena situation.

According to TOS, the staff is interested in Trent Williams, a 6-3 PG from Gillette JC. No offer reported yet.
