I understand PJ is a douche, but he’s much better built for making that post game celebration fun for everyone than KF is.It's flavor flav holy crap!!
PJ makin me laugh
It's a done deal.Doug said yes but that he's lying so maybe
I know this whole process sucks right now but I think you're taking it a bit too far. If you're a 19-year-old kid and you come from a lower even middle class family and you have no guarantee of going pro, if a school offers you a significant amount of money then how can you not switch? I get it as fans we want everyone to be loyal but if one school says they're going to give you a half a million dollars and you go there, but then another school suddenly says hey we'll give you a million, you're a fool not to do it. Calling them grifter is a bit too far.We are a nation of grifters.
Fuckn voice to text. I'm congested today.I’d stick with the half billion, personally
Sounds like forcing the system to change.Leaving your school, going to another school and taking their money, and then leaving to go back to original school sounds like grifting
No, Doug said they're grifters. No one is saying the kid is dumb for doing it. They’re saying the system is dumb for not figuring out a solution to the problem. It’s not like there aren’t a dozen professional leagues to model your system after.
Sounds like theftSounds like forcing the system to change.
You're right the athletes shouldn't be blamed. This kid just like Kadyn Proctor are probably both really good people who come from great families. I know my family taught me that it's okay to fuck people over if there aren't any rules stopping you.The athletes are the last ones that should be blamed. At the top of the list in this debacle is the ncaa, then the coaches, then the collective leaders, and then the agents.
Lol.You're right the athletes shouldn't be blamed. This kid just like Kadyn Proctor are probably both really good people who come from great families. I know my family taught me that it's okay to fuck people over if there aren't any rules stopping you.
That's stupid.Sounds like theft
I believe that once your kid had taken some money from a school that you would view it as their obligation to play at least one season for that school.I don't blame a kid one bit for flipping suddenly to a new school. If it was my kid I'd encourage it. They're stupid not to.
I don't think so. Where in the rules does it say they have to? They only get 4 years.I believe that once your kid had taken some money from a school that you would view it as their obligation to play at least one season for that school.
It shouldn’t require a rule to do the right thing.I don't think so. Where in the rules does it say they have to?
Again, it shouldn’t require not require a rule to do the right thing. If it's within the rules, it ain't grifting. Grab what you can.
(and they should be University employees with collective bargaining. Let some of these dudes play until they're 30 if they want.)
It's a done deal.
How the fuck would I know? I'm just some dipshit in Texas.
we need to go back to calling people sellouts. not just a sports thing - actors, writers, musicians, etc used to fear selling out. now fans do this weird “yass get that bag!” thing. We are a nation of grifters.
I think he had some connection with NW. The QB may still end up at Iowa. We’re not getting the WR from SDSU…
Taking money from a school you are not going to play for is wrong. Period. Regardless of how stupid the system is. You want to transfer, fine. Take your money from the new school, not the one you are leaving.I don't think so. Where in the rules does it say they have to? They only get 4 years.
Again, do you expect the athletes to be more loyal and ethical than the coaches, agents, and collective reps? Look at it from the perspective of someone who grew up poor and not from your perspective.
not great, but I’m fine without having 66%+ of our WRs on the field at any moment being white. poor branding. not even BYU does that. and vanderzee will be out there most snaps. The SDSU wr just committed to NW.
That kid specifically is a grifter. Your guy Proctor is a grifter. No, Doug said they're grifters.
I don't care how poor you are, if you are the kid/family that goes out on trick or treat night and dumps the whole bowl into your bag and runs away you are a fucking piece of shit.I don't think so. Where in the rules does it say they have to? They only get 4 years.
Again, do you expect the athletes to be more loyal and ethical than the coaches, agents, and collective reps? Look at it from the perspective of someone who grew up poor and not from your perspective.
Would you hire an employee at 100k a year and give them their entire salary up front? With no legal stipulations? Of course you wouldn't.It shouldn’t require a rule to do the right thing.
I understand flipping up to the point where you take a school’s money. Hold off on that if you want the freedom to take a better offer later.
I don't know what that means.Has HaMo the White been compromised Mama the Big? Because it’s clearly the right thing to do - and probably a term of most NIL contracts - to give the money back if you get more and go elsewhere. That said, I’m fine taking more elsewhere unless and until the sport gets its shit together.
