I'm certainly not defending Iowa's shitty quarterback play, coaching, or recruiting, but I'd guess at least 80% of all quarterback transfers don't pan out.

I hate the COVID year bullshit and usually think it’s bad when bringing guys back but offensive/defensive line starters are a little different than other positions in this regard since every play is physical for them. They don’t get the opportunities to let up on a play like Harris and Schulte.
