I’m good with it. This may be the only reason he picked Iowa in the first place. Would rather have him available for spring of course, but Lester getting to focus on Brown and young Sullivan this spring will hopefully pay off down the road.

You would have to assume there was no way he was going to the NFL, yes?

I’m curious if Cade has received any interest at all from a school a non FCS school

Maybe he was waiting on Carson Beck to decide on the NFL or head to Miami. Iowa was his fallback and why he waited until Tuesday.

Everyone calm down. Just relax. The last already injured/ injury prone quarterback worked out just fine for our Hawks.

If there’s a silver lining in this, it would be Sullivan strongly considers staying at Iowa.

They spent 40% of their annual NIL budget on a one year QB that can’t practice until June at best. Any reasonable person would have a decent amount of pessimism on how this will work out for Iowa.

The ignore the facts, pure cheerleaders on here remind me of the average Iowa State fan.

“Everyone knew about it” except for the fans they keep begging for money to buy these guys.
Bullshit. Announcers talked about it during games, I didn’t watch any but it was common knowledge to anyone who paid attention to FCS games.

So what exactly is the injury/required procedure and which side of his body we talking about?

throwing shoulder or elbow surgery is a lot different than a sports hernia

Seems cause for some concern for a QB with a year left to play

Is it bad that I think it’s entirely possible that our staff had no idea he would opt for surgery?

So we talkin elbow or shoulder? Or maybe both (“dealing with a lot”)? I definitely feel we’re getting warmer.

Take it easy, cloud. I think we’ve ruled out the torso and left arm

So, we're talking upper body injury requiring limiting throws deep.

Thanks for the full rundown
