throwing shoulder or elbow surgery is a lot different than a sports hernia
A typical recovery time for a sports hernia, depending on the severity of the injury and treatment approach, is 6 to 12 weeks with most people seeing significant improvement after 6 to 8 weeks of physical therapy

good thing that idiotic speculation has been put to rest by our very own @The Dad and it’s likely something significantly worse

I haven't really followed this thread closely but no way he could have a torn labrum on his throwing arm.

Um, he's broken. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Gronowski tear his labrum at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.
Thank you, Simone.

QB is still going to be better than last year. And Gronowski is bigger and smarter than Cade. So there!

Listen, I'm all for shaming miserable Iowa fans. But I don't think a mild degree of PTSD about a transfer QB coming off an injury is some crazy pessimism people are pulling out of their asses.
